Dr. note to release for work. He called me and asked how do I do that. I told him where the Dr. I didn't have a phone number for him. So he drove to my mom's looked up the number and called. He was told they wouls mail the slip to him. He asked can I pick it up. Sure come and get it. He then drove it back t Dana.
He took the initiative to make sure this was handled! That made us very proud. Because believe me, we as his parents don't get to see that side of him much, unless he wants something, lol. It was a great day for all of us.
That comment impressed Dana..Dana's words were, "he didn't wait for it to happen, he made it happen and went and picked it up and brought it back to me"...he said, "The kid wants to work, and that counts as much as his ability"...
So yea, be proud!!!
As far as my help, hey i just had the connections, knew there was a need on both ends and put them together...if Dana didn't think he could do it, he wouldn't have the job...so its all good and i am sure it will work out for all involved. My wife and older kids will be eating there on a regular basis (the toledo store is a regular haunt when i get into town, And my youngest daughter will be a hostess there after classes in the evening...so...its more of a "family deal for us all the way around and ill let you know how his cooking is too!! LOL..
