Nick's dad came through surgery and is doing well. Thanks everyone :)

We are on a load to Auburn Hills now, so we will be able to see him, make it to my family function this weekend, and then my doctors appointment on Tuesday. Kind of nervous but should be ok.

Great news Jenny! If you need anything be sure to let us know

Glad you are running again, OVM.

Sorry for your loss John.

We are in Hartford, WI delivered this afternnon in Neenah, WI. On our way to Neenah this morning when Caryn came in she called and asked if we wanted to pick up in WI and deliver to CO with two drops there when we were done with the load we were on. Of course we wll do that I said. So she bid the load and we got it. So we were predispatched about 8 hours prior to dropping the load we were on.

Now that is the way we like it! No sitting and waiting and wondering and fretting. Turns out that the load that we are to pick up was 70 miles away from our drop this morning but doesn't pick up till tomorrow at 1pm. So we drove to the town, which is small, and we parked in a large parking lot down near the municipal buildings. We are .7 miles from our pick up. So we will walk the town tomorrow and go to the auto museum they have that is next door to us here, before we pick up the load.

This load brings us to a week income back to where we were when we first started with Load One. We haven't seen a week like this in months. We are extatic. So thank you very much Caryn and Load One. Very greatly appreciated. We will be driving direct to Denver, CO. Hopefully we will be ablr to get out of the easily. Never been there, so no idea what to expect.
This week started out very slow, but turned out to make this exciting again! Thanks Load One!

It gets tough, when it's been a couple days, but even I've learned to trust dispatch - they're good people, and they didn't forget about you.

Oh, I know that...not complaining, just excercising my bizzare sense of humor. Very difficult to articulate with forum posts. ;)

We have sat a lot lately. We are just so glad that this week worked out for us as it has. I personaly have a few things that I have been sweating about how I was going to handle them now I know.

Trust is the truth. I have been upset lately and forgot to Trust the Lord with my problems. I let go this week and have been much easier for Tracy to live with, then dispatch comes through and the Lord handled my problems! I forget to Trust sometimes.

It is hard when you have worries and sitting doing nothing is extremely hard on you mentally, financially and physically.

It will turn around soon, I am hoping this is a good sign of the future for us and all at Load One! May your cup runnith over with good fortune!

We have the best dispatch around, in my opinion!

Yes Dennis, we spoke to Joseph yesterday. He actually made us very proud, concerning this job. He jumped when he was told about filling in the application andturning it in. He got it to Dana the same day. He doesn't drive much in Toledo. I had told him to take the turnpike to get there. He did, but missed his exit. He ended up two exits past his. So then he took the expressway back and found it. Got his application turned in the same day.
Then when told to be there for paperwork, he thought it was going to be his first day, he was told couldn't start till had a
Dr. note to release for work. He called me and asked how do I do that. I told him where the Dr. I didn't have a phone number for him. So he drove to my mom's looked up the number and called. He was told they wouls mail the slip to him. He asked can I pick it up. Sure come and get it. He then drove it back t Dana. He took the initiative to make sure this was handled! That made us very proud. Because believe me, we as his parents don't get to see that side of him much, unless he wants something, lol. It was a great day for all of us.
Thank you again for your help. I do believe Dana will be hapy with him. He is still 19 though, and does fall into teenage mode sometimes, lol.
He wants to help his buddy from school to get a job there too. I told him to concentrate on himself first and get established. Don't want him having to deal wit having a buddy there and screwing off or something. His Buddy is a good kid, don't get me wrong. Just want him to get established in his career and not worry about taking someone else with him.

That comment impressed Dana..Dana's words were, "he didn't wait for it to happen, he made it happen and went and picked it up and brought it back to me"...he said, "The kid wants to work, and that counts as much as his ability"...

So yea, be proud!!!:)

As far as my help, hey i just had the connections, knew there was a need on both ends and put them together...if Dana didn't think he could do it, he wouldn't have the job...so its all good and i am sure it will work out for all involved. My wife and older kids will be eating there on a regular basis (the toledo store is a regular haunt when i get into town, And my youngest daughter will be a hostess there after classes in the evening...so...its more of a "family deal for us all the way around and ill let you know how his cooking is too!! LOL..:D
