    cdl-C question

Greg, I am not going to BS you or mess with you. First thing is that a chauffeur’s license will only be good for a company that is based in the state you live in. This comes from a very good source and confirmed. I was in the same situation last year this time and only could run with a...

    I only hang with Sheepdogs...

Tallcal should know what really the truth is if he actually spent time in Africa, I did and saw what can happen to a disarmed population. But I will get to that later. The article is a good one, it illustrates one important thing – we must be told in rather nice terms (wolves, Sheepdogs and...

    GAS VS DIESEL

Thanks David, the one I drove had one just like the Kodiak but that was preproduction. I know that there are timers that the ECM keeps and is accessable through OBD. I don't think idling will hurt the 6.6 because the applications that use it, emergency, service and other vehicles that idle for...

    I only hang with Sheepdogs...

Hey TallCal, What you describe, isn't this the same c**p that was also said about Vietnam and the war over there?

RE: Help! Well it is a good article, but unless we get our s**t together we will lose our way of life really fast.

    Another Fuel Savings Device?

Dave, After I posted this, I did some looking around and found about 10 companies that offer some sort of Hydrogen generation device. I read a couple things on how hydrogen helps the combustion process much like propane does. There were statments made that there is a mileage increase from 8% to...

    Another Fuel Savings Device?

Hydrogen, the saviour of the world? I ran across this last week and was going to stop in at their office when I was in Canada but didn't get the chance. I am wondering if anyone heard of this, saw one or has one. http://www.hy-drive.com

    Enough with Panther Bashing...

Phil, You’re funny but you need to come back to reality. You don’t offer any value until you are truly independent and build a customer base yourself; you are working for a company that decides what value you add to their customer when they sell that service and you fulfill the...

    Camping Expediter Style

I am wondering which camp grounds accept trucks? The last time I was camping, three out of the four camp grounds did not allow trucks - one was a state park. The one that did allow them put them in the worst spot to prevent people complaining about 'havein a stinkin truck' near their bluebird RV.

    AC

It depends. My vans took 2 lbs, the truck takes 3 lbs but my former 65 vette took 4 lbs for some reason. I would get one of those inexpensive low side gauge and use that to determine the charge, I think $15 for the entire unit with Freon. you may have a problem with the O-Tube - which I have to...

    Oil Companies

I do agree with Tallcal on the redwood forest issue, We must preserve some of it but don't agree with the habitat stuff people always scream about. I look at my area, once a thriving area with businesses and people but thanks to the city of detroit and the state we have a lot of land that has...
