It seems as if I will be running for one of two o/o who are signed on with Express-1.
Anyone here drive with express1 or what has anyone else heard or know about express1.
i will be in a cargo van. both o/o seem decent and check out with past drivers and current.
i am just trying to bring home 400-500 per week after food on the road.

They did a great presentation for the EO breakfast. I thought they had a excellent business model.
Outside of that, I have no direct experience with them, but they have some great folks in their operations.
You can do a search on them in the archives here at EO, and you will get alot of information.
Most of what I have read has been very positive.

They are definitely a class act. The search function is your friend. Do a search on them and you'll find a lot of good info. Good luck.

They are top of the line as a company and group of people. I can not speak for how well vans do with them as I ran straights with them.

I have nothing but good things to say and I highly recommend them. I am sure I will be back with them one day. I just have a one of kind deal right now or I would still be there.

It doesn't matter how good or bad express-1 is or isn't,because by the end of the month P2 will own them.

I spent some time with Express-1 and I found them to be fair with that small company feel. Even though I consider them to be fairly large, they interact with their drivers more like a smaller company. You're a name not a number.

Hey Greg,

I would highly recommend you contacting Scott aka X1_SRH, he is pretty honest about Express-1 and he was the only one that would tell me honest numbers when I started.

Ditto

Scott is a decent guy. I trust him and enjoyed working with him while at Express-1.

Dispatchers are friendly and treat you fairly.

Tom Turner at the Swanton location is excellent at working with Fleet Owners.

I would still be there, but I needed a carrier with a base of operations in my home area. I got a chance to see them at the EO Truck Show and we still enjoy talking with one another.

I'd run a d-unit with them, but I highly recommend talking to several van drivers/owners before running a van. Everything I've heard was that they were saturated with vans, and even ppl who have been with them for years told me they were having HARD times. I believe Scott will give you the straight scoop about how vans are doing.
