    Excessive deadhead

U have hazmat and iac? If not it could been one of those loads and you couldn't do it. I've traveled over 1,000 miles dh for a load that I was a little too early for and at the local truck stop I talked to a driver for FDCC that had been there for days. He didn't have the right qualifications...

Do cargo vans even have any sort of future in expediting?

I think paper logs are done. I mean companies still use them but isn't there a date already set where electronic logs will be required? Also, larger companies like FDCC will only give you 550 miles/day regardless of how many you can travel. I think as the hos gets more strict that will be more...

Ahh. So it's not a w/ g thing. Ok. One of the owners with fedex has a big enough fleet they already had a fleet coordinator like this. When we drove for that owner we were flat rate and utilized that person after we found out who he was. It was after that point we started doing very well in a...

    Another Obama Smackdown from SCOTUS

I have mixed conservative and liberal ideas and opinions, but hobby lobby is saying they will provide contraceptives for their employees, just not the ones to take after the fact that kills off whatever happened. I think that's pretty fair.

    who's running the freight

Yep. Just lost a reefer load with added services needed to it because I bid too high. :-( They actually sent me a message back telling me how that was way too crazy expensive. I bid lower than I wanted to and I felt bad going that low. They threw a number out at me after my 1st bid. Let's put it...

Or just load your freight carefully. My d-unit has less than 200lb on it's front axle to work with. I just became an expert on balancing the freight on my drives.

Get H-rated then. I have H-rated Goodyears on my truck. I don't care for them. I liked my Continentals better. I also hear great things from Michelin.

    Total Choas at the FED

I have verizon mifi and I like them, but AT&T is in more spots across the US and I'm not in Canada enough to justify it for my cell...Yet... Maybe I will in the future. Also, I'm locked in with a year and some months left on my AT&T contract.
