I heard that Chrysler loads are going to be leaving the NLM site and going over to one that Expediters International is starting up.

The sooner the better--maybe, just maybe then the media's love affair with him will taper off a bit.

There are sites like Uship (that you can access through a link on EO), expediteloads.com, getloaded.com, and several others. I've looked around on them, but have never used em. It seems like it would be pretty hit and miss in finding something that would match up---right place, right time...

Roadway must have a group that bids on expedites--they got an award from NLM back in 2005, which would make me believe that they at least at one time moved a fair amount of expedite. I would guess stuff that picked up Friday and delivered Monday could still fit into their network...

I would think that Landstar would at least get a last look at the load after all the bids are in and decide if they want to match the best bid. If they're smart they'll put a database together of all the bids that come in so they know what rates the market is bearing.
