Question on all state expedited

I have owner that wants to put a tractor on with this company as solo. I have driven for fed ex and am not familiar with this company. We like some info if you have any bad or good. Thank you

I know that they are part of the expedite alliance and that they bid on PTM and NLM moves. They've been around a while, but beyond that nothing to say one way or the other about them.

Thanks i drove for fed ex one year and dont know what type system they run. Not to sound dumb but what are ptm/nlm thanks

NLM is National Logistics Management and PTM is Premium Transportation Management (Active Aero). Both are bid boards that carriers go to for expedite loads---tend to be lower pay because it is a competitive bid enviornment.

Thank you for the information. I guess i learned something today. Im looking into getting my own tractor that way i dont have split the money i would get it all whatever that is considering freight. Thanks

They do have their own customers as well, dont rely exclusively on the nlm board, and ptm is owned by yellow/roadway exact express.I talked to them at the expo, and they claim they dont do much nlm anymore.They do have a couple salesman as well.Worth a call. newer company-owned trailers with satelite tracking for each trailer as well.

Thank you for the update i have talked to them seem real nice people. im just nervous about buying my own tractor. its the only way to go to get all the money. drove for to many people with there hand out. thanks again
