I sent Speedco a copy of the bill on Monday. Got a check on Saturday. Still lost work time as a result of them stripping the plug. At least they paid for the repair.

I just use my smartphone camera.Take a picture and send it as an email or text attachment.

Sorry to hear of your loss John. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

My mechanic was able to install a 3/4 inch to half inch reducer with a 1/2 inch drain plug. $161.37. I sent an invoice to Speedco and was told they will mail me a check. No arguments.

The more I think about this the more I'm leaning towards staying home and going in service on Friday. Six feet of snow in Buffalo. Currently 74 degrees at home.:cool:

Since I am at home and won't have my truck back until Monday I am worried I will only get one run then end up sitting for 5 days 1000 miles away from home.

Are things pretty slow over the Thanksgiving weekend? My history shows Wednesday through Sunday are dead but that was with another carrier.

Had my PM done at the Speedco in Whytheville, VA. A few days later noticed an oil drip. The leak got worse and yesterday it made a puddle. Took it back to Speedco. The oil pan drain plug is stripped and the plug can not be torqued to spec. I brought it home and took it to my local shop to see...
