    ??FedEx/Panther PAY??

The load I'm on now is 0.06659 cents (47 miles DH FSC $3.13). The loaded was 0.06670. Not sure why mathematically they don't come out the same but the rate is (supposed) the same. Never seen it @.15. But I've only been here 3 years. When gas was really high it may have been. I'm a "B" unit.

    ??FedEx/Panther PAY??

For a Sprinter/Cargo van on Panther last I checked was .80 cents a mile, Fed Ex I heard was paying 1.05-1.25 but that was probably just a rumor. Fedex cargo van is .80 cents for new hires. Coming from the old contract you got .85 cents. When you buy a new van or add one you're rewarded by a .05...

    Odometer blinking

My A/C does the same thing. I already wore out one fan motor. I don't idle mine either. From what I'm finding on the innerweb the BCM (body control module) is most likely the problem. It loses communication on some features.

Load Board, competition will be fierce

So it's been a few months hows the load board going? I'm still doing better than prior but it's starting to go backwards. The biggest problem I have is how many miles I can run on 18hr reset. Seems it's a constant changing rule.

    Odometer blinking

I was thinking along that lines but I would think resetting the computer would remove it. If it's incripted then probably not. Most likely will be a dealer repair.

    Odometer blinking

2014 promaster, started the van my seatbelt and airbag light stayed on steady (not blinking) and the odometer is blinking. Everything is operating normally except that. Anyone experience this yet? No check engine light. Disconnected the battery for a minute or so and there still on. Disconnected...

    2014 Promaster...where is the battery?

I wasn't on my computer. It was FYI for DIY on how to jump a promaster van. Wrong quote??

    2014 Promaster...where is the battery?

There's a jumper post under the hood. It's on the right side a black box with a bump on it. Open the bump hook positive to the lug. There's a ground stud Pointing straight at you between you and the positive. The battery is in front of the drivers seat in the floor under your feet.

Cargo Van Promaster (Gas) ticking sound from engine

I started running 10w30 I only get a lifter noise now at startup and only when it's getting close for oil change. Lasts for a second two and goes away. I use mobile 1 changing before 7 miles. I was changing when the oil change light came on. I've had several flex plates in mine one reman trans...

    Load Board Vehicle Type

There's also an "A" unit. They show up on the load board but I don't think they recruit them anymore. (Could be wrong) I think they had a limit of 500lbs? I believe they used to be pickups and small vans.

How many miles on your Promaster

Mines gas, I could write a book on the transmission problems I've had. 190,000 miles the death rattle at start is getting worse. Stills runs good, mpg 20+ but it sure does rattle on start up. Went to heavier oil and that seems to have stopped it for the most part. When I hear it I change the...

    Promaster plugs

Decided on doing plugs myself this time around. Had a light come on went into limp mode. Throttle body going bad or dirty. So in I went. Not bad at all I have to say. The plugs just have 6 or 7 plastic pieces that need to come off. The throttle body I can do on the shoulder not hard at all. I...

    PM Owners

Just replaced my alternator @168,000. That was an expensive alternator. $652.00 for the alternator plus labor for a total of $923.00. Not a cheap one for sure. Had a front wheel bearing go @137,000. Queens truck repair in Cincinnati did my alternator, part came from Ram. They did it for 75.00...

Load Board, competition will be fierce

I'm seeing "C" loads now, some I could certainly take according too size and weight. Could be dock high that would exclude me from it. I haven't tried to except one yet. I do like seeing what the pay is. I have that twitch that wants a straight truck but my frontal lobe says no.

The New FedEx CC Load Board

Yeah not all loads are on the board. I still get them from the VRU robot while looking at the board and the load is not on there. Sometimes it is but not always. Until the load board becomes mandatory it will stay that way.

The New FedEx CC Load Board

I was looking for other units as well. I checked every box and only see A-B units. I wanted to see what straight truck loads were paying and tractors. Thought about moving into a straight and it would have been nice to see exactly what I could make before I jumped. If I maintain what I'm doing...

The New FedEx CC Load Board

Had a new job in January driving big truck again locally. Decided to wait and see what the board is all about. I've doubled my monthly income with the load board in a "B" unit (so far). Glad I waited but that could change. It is expediting after all. It is first come first serve UNLESS there is...
