    New Freight management system

Being in management on the lower and upper levels of big corporations it baffles me how this could get so screwed up. Taking this long and have so many problems is alarming. Leaving out critical elements, having to add back in parts that no one seemed to think were needed or had no idea were...

    GMC vs Ford

That’s funny, you thought a simple question on EO would stay on topic. Lol that’s some funny s**t right there I don’t care who you are.

Who besides ThermoKing installs cab heaters?

If it’s a Chinese heater they don’t have a fahrenheit reading. Pump pressure or Celsius.

A step in the right direction

I remember when I had my big trucks sitting at Budweiser for over 24 hrs waiting on loads. Driver would call and say I’m leaving with the load not waiting any longer. The keg line was the worst. Drivers pulled out empty everyday after waiting 10-12 hrs. Had no affect. Guy dumped his empty kegs...

    EFS card

Who’s oos because of money? Just wondering if anyone is using this card for gassing up. I find a big spread in money on some van loads. Did a Canada load of few weeks ago that paid just under 1300,00 for 525 miles. Did a Cali load out of Tulsa got paid full rate for DH back to Tulsa. My business...

    EFS card

Any gas vans using EFS cards? Wondering if they work at the gas islands. T-Chek worked at the pump at Pilot and FlyingJ but not at loves or TA. Had to go inside first. Just wondering if I want to go with the new EFS card or not.

    Cargo Van Espar heater

What did you replace? The entire head unit or internals? I assume the burner and pump are probably the only difference. Wiring and thermostat would be the same? They are definitely worth every penny. Can’t imagine not having it.

I should have done it when I installed it. It’ll have one before I hit the road on Monday.

    Cargo Van Espar heater

Gas heaters are 1700-2000 new depending on where you get them. This one was a 150.00 used from a big truck junk yard. In line filter I think will stop most of the crap from getting in. I found a water separator/filter for espar I may put on it. Although there was zero water in the tank.

    Cargo Van Espar heater

I’ve talked with a couple of guys with gas and they love them. If this one ever goes completely dead I would look at gas. I was actually looking for a gas one when I bought this one. I think I would opt for the next size up. This one was used and 150 bucks. It’s paid for itself 10 times over...

    Cargo Van Espar heater

Cost way more and gas doesn’t burn as hot as fuel oil or diesel. My dad ran a covair gas heater in his KW for years. Had the exhaust pipe laying under the intake on the 318 detroit. Started on the coldest mornings. Espars weren't around back then. It was a 72 he bought brand new. Only guy around...

    Cargo Van Espar heater

It only holds 5 gallons so even a small bottle will last a long. I’ve been looking at some, not sure what everyone is running these days. I used to use fttp I think it was called. Small bottle but I never had any issues while running it in my big trucks. Definitely going to add something to it.

    Cargo Van Espar heater

The espar is cheap to run. A gallon or less in 24 hrs and battery drain is minimal. We run ours underway at times as well. Keeps the bunk nice and warm. Set the thermostat and forget about it. Repairing them is cheaper than repairing or replacing a generator. I plan on buying a generator this...

    Cargo Van Espar heater

Nice thing is espar parts fit those. So if it fails early you can put in the better parts. My money is it’s a good unit. I was going to buy one before I found this one. Worth every penny for sure. I love this heater.

    Cargo Van Espar heater

My espar heater finally crapped out. Thankfully we were headed for home so no cold nights. I paid 150 bucks for it (used) almost 4 years ago. I serviced it once prior just for the lack of history on it. What I found this time is a plugged fuel pump filter and a plugged filter in the combustion...

    Xpo or Landstar

I know a guy with almost 20 years at Ryder that lost his job for a cell phone. No ticket, someone called and reported him. He admitted he was on it and they fired him with no option to come back. They have a zero tolerance for cell phones. He said I figured I'd be honest and get wrote up. Cell...

I know with Fedex it’s age not millage to sign on. My step father has an 05 with 902,000 on it. (chevy express). He signed it on when it was new. It’s his 3rd van with them. They won’t sign it on over 5 years old but you can keep it for ever. If it becomes a problem child then there will...
