    New Guy Here

Patrick, Wichita is not a real hot spot for freight but could be better then southern California. I would suggest you read back through the forums as many of your questions will be answered and you will have more direct new questions to ask.

    Green Tea Diet

I also like Chai Tea in the winter but my problem is I like it with sugar added to the tea. I can drink cold tea without sugar but for some reason I like hot tea with lots of sugar. I know when I drink the green tea everyday I do not retain water and I feel really good. I drink at least 1...

Glad to see you posting and have broken away from the lurker status! Very wise to read read read and ask a lot of questions before you jump into the fray!

    Want to get back driving

You might also call recruiters at the companies you are interested in and ask if they have a list of owners looking for a team member.

    Save a Life or Two

We try to give platelets when we are home as you can give more often but this is time consuming. It is very easy to give blood and we find this an easy way to give something back to our community. We have also given blood out on the road when we can.

    back to normal

I know I am a newbie! Not very many days go by that I do not learn something new and realize once again how new I am to Expediting. We have been around trucking forever but Expediting is a whole new wonderful ballgame that we will never master.. Now that is enough to make you want to get up...

Dale what I have found in the past is often after I have met someone face to face I have a much better understanding of where they are coming from. My tolerance level goes up and so does my patience and I can read between the lines. As you say Respect is the key even if you do not agree all posts.

    New br unit information needed

If you are interested in the BR unit and not just a refrigerated van call Jeff Jones at Stoops Specialty Trucks he could then point you in the right direction. If you are wanting to have a BR unit leased on to FCC you need to call a recruiter and they will get you to the right person.

    Driver vs Owner

Leo is always saying "Poor Molly and Bob" and he usually is right!

    back to normal

It is kind of funny when you go to the Expo and you see people you have not seen all year you feel somewhat like a huge extended family at a family reunion. Even though you might disagree with someone most of the time you still consider them part of the family and care about how they are doing...

EO University Workshop 2010 Expo Workshops

One of my concerns about having the round table to long is it will just turn into a gab session that would be better held around a BBQ grill. If we plan a session on Sunday I would rather see this one as totally informal and maybe just meeting around a breakfast table. Several have brought up...

    Driver vs Owner

I find myself often arguing with the driver side of myself and then the owner side of myself has to step in and add reason or cost analysis. My driver side often gets the I wants such as a new truck with all the bells and whistles including a table. The driver side wants automatic tire chains...

    A discussion from a new EO member….

Heck Greg I have a hard time keeping up with our one truck trucking business and that is enough for me. FedEx is on their own. You reminded me though of an argument I often have with myself going down the road though.
