Good evening:
I am a new member and reside in the San Antonio area.
I was told by a friend that Pilot was purchasing Flying J and I found this web site. A lot of the posts had a lot of insight into Flying J and Pilot.
In San Antonio, I purchase fuel at the Pilot at IH 10 an Ackerman Road.
The other day I talked to one of the employees of Pilot and he said that they may close that location.
He said that they may move to the location at IH 10 and Foster Road or build a new location next to the Love truck stop.
He said the access was bad at that location and they need more room.
I have 2 questions:
What do truckers think about that location? (It is not a problem for me because I use the auto side, but it does look very hard to use the trucking side.)
Are they really thinking about moving locations? It makes sense when you think of it.
I have been purchasing fuel there for many years and it is very convenient. I am really just curious.
