Ford Diesel Cargo Van\after market cruise control

Sometimes it seems to cost less doing aftermarket. If you ad up all the time and energy involved in doing after market and headaches down the road it might be better just to get Ford to do it.

    C/V's Dead?

My two cents. I think C/Vans are neat. And I don't think they will ever get rid of them. Probably not to far in the future there is probably going to be a shortage of C/V because of people loosing Sprinters. I see companies forcing Sprinters on people when most of those people are running a...

    Oil in the coolant

Get both the coolant and the oil analyzed at speedco there in Atl. It should tell you, but it might be o-rings around the cooler. If you have a trace of anti/in your oil it's probably the head. I would start with the analysis.

    Cargo holders ?

They are Shoring Beams. They are square and lock into the e-trac slots. They don't move. Freight won't slide, fall or whatever. They cost about $40 bucks apiece. They work in vertical and Horizontal trac's. I picked them up from guys wanting to sell them and bought a few new ones. If your...

    Cargo holders ?

When I ran a ST I carried 20 Aluminum shoring beams. I had one customer in Dallas that I went to quite regular and without fail they would have extra pallets to go. The pallets only weighed about 200 pds ea but you could not stack them. They were parts for F-16 fighter canopy's. I would take...

    Sprinters with Airline track

I was also wondering about that. Can the F tracks take the place of E Trac? Do the company's allow that? Good question. I've never seen anyone that use's them that why I'm asking.

    cold weather and deisel

I use an additive year round, every tank. Lucas. The reason is not only jelling problems but fuel lubrication problems. Older engines need lubrication and new low sulfur fuel does not supply lubrication needed in older engines. Fuel now has 15ppm sulfur, that's almost like running an engine...

deicer in a straight truck air lines ?

If you are running a straight truck, about the only way your lines will freeze is if your dryer is in need of service or like the other post the gaskets is leaking. Sometimes when truckers park for several days in cold weather and don't run their trucks, moisture will build up from temperature...
