We just had one of those loads from California going to New Mexico which left us a day to spend in Flagstaff, AZ. We really enjoy the area as we have found a great organic food grocery store, Sam's Club, and Bob is in easy reach of a NAPA auto parts store. We each had major plans on what all we wanted to do while laid over for a day at the Little America Truckstop. I was up early and I had on my walking shoes as there are lots of sidewalks and even a hiking trail beside a stream that is awesome. Bob had plans of polishing on the truck for the morning. I walked for a few hours before I called Bob to meet me at Sam's as he had a new 2-wheel cart he wanted to buy that a friend had shown him. Then we went to the grocery store and stocked up. I was able to get us a couple Bison steaks which are high in protein and are a lean cut of meat. We got back to the truck and started our grill. The weather was perfect for cooking and eating outside the truck. After the dinner Bob and I again went for a shorter walk before finally giving in to exhaustion and going to bed! I was up early the next morning and started driving once again towards our delivery.
