Thank You for making an awesome Weekend!
Thank You to all of you that came out for this event and I am sure all of you enjoyed the free tickets to see the races. There were plenty of parking, showers, and bathroom facilities to make this a fabulous weekend with lots of racing.
On Saturday we had four drivers come over to our area and give a little talk and take questions from the crowd. We had Austin Dillon #3, Jeff Gordon #24, AJ Allmendinger #47, and Brad Keslowski #2, I think all of the truck drivers enjoyed listening to the drivers then getting to go watch them race. I know we sure did.
We had Cold Passes to go into the Pits and what an
experience that was.
During the truck
race on Friday I was able to go out onto pit row for the national anthem and
also stand beside one of the truck as they started it up to go racing.
Kneeling on the pit row fence when the race when green was also an experience I will not soon forget. During the day we wandered through the garage area and watched as they prepped the cars.
After the races we enjoyed tail gaiting (Lift Gaiting) with fellow expediters and tractor-trailer drivers. During the three days we met some really awesome truck drivers and were able to get up close and personal with several NASCAR drivers.
