It's a Team's Life
Sleeper Interior
After a year of running this truck we are still impressed with the sleeper and having a table! There are very few days that the bed is not put up against the wall and the table used. If we have been running hard for a few days the bed might stay down but I would say in the last year this has maybe happened five times.
I used my two step stool every day as I am to short to see in most of the cabinets and even with the stool I cannot get to the back of the top cabinets. Gaylene, another driver suggested using a trap on the floor of the top cabinets. That has worked perfect and I pull the tray forward and I keep track of everything I have stored up there.
We replaced the laminate wood floor with a real wood floor that is called black bamboo and has wide planks. The floor looks awesome and even though the area is small and heavily traveled it is holding up nicely.
The widows have pull down shaded and have insulated window
covers we can put over them to keep out the cold and the light.
We thought we would use the covers often, but
we have found the shades work great and the windows are good enough they keep
out the cold.
The spice cabinets behind the sink and behind my vita mixer
are full and since I like to use a lot of spices when cooking this room is much
appreciated.
When we first moved into
the truck I did not think it has much storage and that has proven to be a wrong
assumption on my part.
The cabinets are
huge and I carry everything we need and a few extra things I am sure I do not
need.
