Newest Caffcadia Engine Report
We are almost to 290,000 miles on our "new" truck and has time flown. As the miles are clicking upwards I have noticed that our DDEC reported miles per gallon (11.79)
are getting closer to our odometer mile per gallon that is 11.431.
On our DDEC report is 4-parked regens that were forced by a Freightliner Technician as the DEF fuel pump went out this month. Our DEF usage continues to stay very low and is about 2% of our fuel mileage.
Our idle percent also went up due to how long it took to due each parker regen and we are now up to 6.62% and this number will drop as we do not idle.
Over all the Caffcadia is performing very well for us and
has been virtually maintenance free.
The
truck is still very quiet and still rides like a dream.
