Our lock box has been in 48 states and several provinces of Canada. The lock box is fireproof/waterproof to a degree and holds several of our valued possessions. In our lock box we carry the following:
Cash
Passports
Credit Card Numbers
Drug Test Kits
Early in our career we heard of a couple different accidents where the truck burned or the drivers possessions were lost when the truck overturned. While the box is not totally fireproof or waterproof it will provide some protection.
Over the years as our operation has changed our truck is often searched and the lock box provides us with peace of mind that if the officer wants to see inside we will be present. The box was inexpensive and has stood up well to the test of time and also to the rigors of the road.
I hope that our lock boxes integrity is never challengedso in the
mean time it provides peace of mind.
