Life Changing Decision?
This is the last workshop of the year and anyone thinking of entering into expediting should be in the audience. For most people getting into trucking this is a radical jump not only in income but also in lifestyle.
Bring a notebook, pen and A LOT of questions as the more you learn the more questions you will have. It is also good to take a lot of notes, get peoples names and email addresses. After the workshop you will want to go back to your notes again and again for reference. Your notebook will also be a great place to compare notes about what recruiters tell you about their company. Talk to everyone that you can, this is not the time to be shy as the decision you make can change your life drastically.
The workshop in a mini Expedite Expo and attendees will get the chance to talk with recruiters, truck sales, and also current expediters to get all of their questions answered. The workshop is a smaller more intimate gathering that can lead to some great discussions.
We usually arrive a little early to set up our Team Run Smart table and to talk to the early birds. It always helps us to meet as many people as possible before the show starts as it helps us to gauge what people are interested in.
We will be talking not only about Team Run Smart but also
about Life as an Expediter and both are fun topics.
We do not have a lot of time and we enjoy
answering questions so if you do not get a chance to ask your question please
see us at the break or afterwards.
