I like to Drive!

When I was young my family lived on a ranch in southern Arizona and I would grab one of my horses and ride from dawn till dark and not see anyone and just about not find a fence line.   The freedom was something I craved and I knew about every square inch of that ranch.   Moving, adulthood, getting married and having kids put an end to my wanderings for many years.

Now in trucking once again I am back to wandering and I find it just as much fun as I did as a child.   I have a bigger area to wander in, but I still have not been able to find that favorite part of the country!   I am still looking.   In different seasons I like different parts of the United States and except in the congested areas of the country I like it all.

Unlike many drivers I enjoy driving on two lane back roads covering the United States and when we are not in a huge rush these are my favorite roads.   I like to see the pastures with horses and cattle and I get a huge smile when I go through some of the areas that have camels.   Some of the lanes with overhanging trees going up to a residence can get my imagination go for miles.

Driving down the interstate in our Cascadia, which has an amazing view and an amazing ride I often thank my lucky stars that I am where I am! No way do I dread going to work everyday.
