Happy Birthday
We moved to Saint Louis and shared an apartment with our daughter until we could locate a house. When we found a house Nicki became the caretaker of the house, shop, land, and us. She does all of this while holding down a full time job 55 miles from where we are located.
When I have a problem on the road I call Nicki and she handles it as she is on our checking accounts. Nicki has had to deal with some outlandish requests and find some well-hidden documents for me. Without her to do these things we would be forced to go home more often.
We purchased a house out in the country with ten acres. While Nicki does not mow all of our grass she does mow the frontage area, the drive and around the house. This takes her a few hours by the time she mows and runs the weed eater. Nicki is also good about starting our pickup and making sure when we get home we do not have a dead battery.
We are often out for a few months at a time and Nicki will have a huge stack of mail for us to go through when we arrive at the house. This past Christmas by the time we arrived home we had a stack of boxes of items I had ordered. This is another area Nicki is a huge help I am not concerned when I order an item on line and have it shipped to the house, as she will be there to bring it in.
We do not worry about our home, as we know Nicki can deal with what ever happens. There has been some pretty serious storms go through the area and Nicki is just a phone call away to ask how everything survived.
Through out Nicki’s years of growing up, attending a university, and then landing her first job she has always made us proud. She is out going, fun to be around, and funs to go do stuff with when we are home. One of the nicest things about Nicki is she like having us around. Nicki has me as a guest on her gym membership and when at home her and I go to the various exercise classes she is involved in.
We enjoy going home and spending time with Nicki as well as at our house. Nicki enjoys us coming home as I take over the mowing and also the cooking. Bob takes care of any concerns and repairs that are needed around the property. It is a win win situation for all of us.
This birthday Nicki and several friends are flying out to see our youngest daughter who is in the military stationed at Nellis AFB. They have great all girl plans to go out and experience Las Vegas. I am always thrilled at how well our daughters get along and how much fun we have when we are all together. So Nicki have a great birthday and do not do anything I would not do!
