It's a Team's Life
FMCSA New Web Page
Late last month the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) launched a new page on there website. It is to help entry-level drivers get answers and aid them to find training.
Last year on February 7, 2022 the FMCSA’s Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) regulations went into effect. Certain minimal federal requirements must be met before the driver can take tests. This is only for certain commercial driver’s licenses (CDL) and endorsements. Those wanted to get a class A, B, and a class B to A upgrade. This training will be needed for the following endorsements: Hazardous Material, Passenger, and School Bus.
Here is the link to the FMCSA site:Â FMCSA Entry-Level Driver Training Page
The FMCSA webpage is quite extensive and provides a lot of information on testing locations, training providers, state training requirements, and you can even enroll with the training provider. We believe it is a well laid out and has all the information one needs to get started.
So, if you going to be new in getting or upgrading your CDL look into the above webpage for all the information you need.
