I have been reading about the history of FedEx and I have found the book to be fascinating and one where I cannot wait to see what happens next.   The book, "Changing How the World Does Business" is well written and informative by Roger Frock who was involved from basically the inception of Federal Express.

Even though I know the outcome of where we are today I have been on pins and needles more then once reading about the day-to-day operations.   The struggle to pay the bills, get funding, and cut through bureaucratic red tape is overwhelming.

Fred Smith had a dream and he was determined to make it work.   One of the quotes was from Winston Churchill and goes something like this “When going through hell, keep going!” and as I read the book I think how fitting that quote really is.

We have been with FedEx Custom Critical over six years and not a day goes by that there is not a change in the air.   The world is changing at a rapid pace and FedEx is right there in the race.   Not all of the changes have been for the better as far as we see but the one thing we know for a fact is there is another change going on right now.

While change sometimes overwhelms me and I want to fight it I know that in order to survive we have to change with the times.
