Well...the 30 day pay period would all but eliminate the drifters and flyby's....which is a good thing if your business model did not want only but the most experienced and have their own business well set-up....The drivebys and drifters have associated negative costs.....I like it....

I drove for WW and got paid on time 90 pct of the time. I also drove one of their vans when mine broke down and a computer board was in short supply for my van. I was always treated nice, no fussing, no hassles, and when there was a problem , Ann always fixed it . I never had any problems and I was there 2 years. I think sometimes folks make their own problems out here. If u read about other companies in here, they all have problems..............well life goes on. You all quit bitxchn and get back to work. Goodday.............:)

I wonder how they deal with it when the shoe is on the other foot. Like, you know, only delivering freight on-time 90% of the time.

Don't believe that guy.90% on time pay???I wish. They not pay in 30 days. When you sign up they say 30 days. After a time period( 3-4 months) the average pay period drop to 40-50 days after you delivered the load. If you call them , they say that you did not mail the paperwork on time or they not receive it. Or...''we mail the check you should receive it in 2-3 business days''. After delivery they want the paperwork fax and mailed . One more time ,not a bad company but they pay late.

I just wonder what WW would think if all their drivers kept telling them they are close to delivery but never seem to get to the destination. Seems it would be the same as the check is in the mail and it and dont show up for another month or two. Seems like it might put them out of business if that happened. Im sure it has really hurt alot of drivers not getting paid in 3 months or whatever.

Ok,,has anyone ever had any problems with any other carrier, broker, etc.

We haven't seen others of this magnitude...there will always be miscommunication and contract weaselers here and there, but as you can tell by this thread, the WW situation affects MANY. I wonder if Ann herself has taken the time to read these posts? Maybe then she will understand the damage the current business practices are doing to WW.
