A couple of possibilities might be Mark Sanford of SC and Tim Pawlenty of MN.

Pawlenty announced last week that he would not seek a third term as Governor of Minnesota. Certainly someone to watch.

I don't visit any political sites, In fact I don't really talk or think about politics much, other than here. I am drawn into this soapbox due mainly to the overloaded, one sided right wing drivel being spewed here.

No offense, Doug, but it shows. It's like you went fishing... without the bait... or pole... in the desert... ;)

...on a horse with no name.:D

I didn't catch this part of the conversation... presidential possibilities? I've heard some good things about Sanford. Tho I've never heard of Pawlenty, I'm guessing he's another middle-of-the-road Republican? We definitely don't need that.

I'm still for Romney/Palin, until someone more conservative shows up.

BTW... did you hear all the charges against Palin, brought up during the campaign, were dismissed? Bet you didn't hear it on CNN! Go figure.

I'm not too sure on a Romney/Palin ticket, but he was the only one with any business sense. He was the only one that beat a constant drum on demanding GM go bankrupt.
Surprise, we have Obama who finally woke up after spending billions. Bush wasn't any better. He threw money at it to just buy time until he got out of office.
Imagine I guess if he were elected. We would be billions to the good rather than billions in the hole to China.

I would consider him a conservative Republican, at least on fiscal issues. He is up against a DFL (Democratic-Farm Labor) controlled House and Senate.

You think China would take Texas and call it even? They could even build a wall around it!

They'd want California. The (ignorant) people there are far more indoctrinated and accepting of communism. Less work for them to bring the remainder into shape and also on the correct coast for their shipping.
