OK, where is Jessie Jackson? Where is Al Sharpton, Spike Lee? A mob beats a man to the point where he is in a coma and there is little outrage. Why is that? The man that was beaten was white and the mob was black.
The incident took place after a boy ran out into the street in front of cars and was hit. The man that was driving the vehicle that hit the boy, stopped and got out to render aid. That is when he was attacked, beaten to the point where he may die, and robbed.
There is SOME mention of this in the local news but nary a mention in the national media. Why is that? The man who was beaten did NOTHING wrong. The accident was not his fault and he did not try to run or dodge his responsibility. This is a hate crime and should be treated as such.
There are a few lessons we can learn from this. The first is that IF you have this sort of accident in Detroit you are better off leaving the scene and driving to a police station. Doing what is right can get you killed. The second is that the self proclaimed "black leaders" are only concerned with white on black crime and care little about when it is the other way around. Where is Obama? He has spouted off on similar things in the past, why not this time? The third lesson learned is that IF you are forced to go into Detroit for ANY reason be darn sure that you are armed and prepared to use it. There is a very good chance that you may need it.
