how many of us rember littel kids or women walking into a bunch of GI's having a bomb in a shoe box or under a baby just to kill a few GI's
to defeat the dreaded comunist it was done by money

to defeat the idiots over there will need by not buying thier oil then they won't have money
i have not said anything against our troops
but when i was in and my dad and his dad you cleaned then worked you way up did all the dirty jobs then moved up

I have news for you. Not buying oil here will get us nowhere. The people we are fighting here do not get the money and arms from oil. The get it from other groups. Remember a couple years back when Saddam said he would give the families of suicide bombers $25,000? People seem to forget things like that.

Not that many years ago, you could walk into almost any bar in Boston, and find a jar on the bar top that said it was donations for the IRA (another terrorist group). The FBI is constantly busting Mosques in the US for funneling money to terrorist groups.

The groups we are fighting find unhappy young men. They befriend them, and get them to come into the mosque. They then start filling thier heads with garbage. After about a year of this brain washing, they plant the suicide bomber seed. Go look around Lebanon. You will see posters honoring suicide bombers all over the place. Makes them look like rock stars. Real heroic. That helps seal the deal. Once the kid has agreed to become a martyr they then train him, and make the video. The videos that you see of these clowns are not so much for press after the fact, but to help keep the person from backing out. They are promised that their families will be taken care of, and that they will go to heaven. So the kid goes and blows up a bus, or drives a car load of explosives into a military convoy.

I have seen intel reports stating that part of the recruiting process is that they are shown clips from the US media, showing anti war marches, and things. They use this as another tool to get the kid to "decide" that this is the right path for him to take.

I think the reason a lot of people are against the war is that they don't understand the threat posed by these Islamo-facist groups such as Al-Quaeda and the theocracy that controls Iraq. Just read the history of Hitler's rise to power in the mid-1930s - his words and actions are stunningly similar to those of this nutcase that's president of Iran right now. Furthermore, the responses of the appeasers such as Neville Chamberlain and the French govt. at the time were almost identical to those of today's liberals. The main difference is that these Islamic radicals have already attacked us both overseas and on American soil. They are also attacking our culture by means of creating propaganda that pours our of our biased media every day, taking advantage of a weak and liberal public educational system, pouring across our almost non-existant borders, and exploiting our self-destructive mentality of political correctness (we worry about offending THEM when they try to impose their culture and religious beliefs on us). If we abandon Iraq at this juncture, we leave a vacuum that will immediately be filled by Iran and these same radical Islamo-fascists. This leaves these guys sitting on about 60% of the world's oil supply and in control of the Strait of Hormuz through which about 2/3 of the world's oil supply passes. Then what happens if Iran is allowed to put the finishing touches on their nuclear weapons program? They can cut off our energy supplies, destroy our economy and threaten nuclear strikes if we try to do anything about it. Global thermonuclear war would not be out of the question, given that Ahmadinijad thinks it's his destiny to bring about the end of days and the return of the Prophet to rule the world under radical Islamic law. Bush needs to quit fooling around over there, stamp out this terrorist insurgency by whatever force necessary to get Iraq under control and be prepared to deal with Iran when the time comes.

Aviator, Thank you for your service to our country. It was refreshing to see your link of the IRA and money funnelled from this country to Ireland and how Islamic terrorists are funded.

Even though the IRA were white Catholics they were still terrorists. And much of their funding came from all parts of this country. Not just Boston.

Just read anything TCall Posts or Rdtrk, we need no enimies we have them right here. History has a way of being ignored and we cannot learn from the Past they prove the point great societies fail from within and we are failing bigger and faster than anyone in History ever has. We can and should dissagree but HATE destroys within and Congrats on all of your Victories.

Now with that said they make some valid points, Bush is not on a very good path. I will though stand behind him as I did Clinton, but these guys admitt a true Hatred for the Man who by the way is our President and was elected easily the second time. I do have my opinions on Bush but he is what he is OUR PRESIDENT.

I wish he would help those Border Guards that should have never gone to court, and our Borders are undefended and its bringing our Country down.

You got the respect you deserve by your comments over and over again about the HATE you posses on George Bush, NONE.

Many on the left and in the press don't see anything but your president, there is no our president anywhere to be found. Even Pelosi made a distinction by calling the Marines Bush's troops which makes clear what they are thinking.

As for pelosi, the dems will have a problem as she thinks that she can control the president and force issues that are consitutionaly not hers to even approach. I heard comments of hers today and think that they will not control the house in 2008 unless they move on things that actually help us and stop saying that they were elected to end the war. I can see her going down this path and running into a legal wall with her ending up being removed. I see the ethics bill has been watered down a lot, as has the other bills.

The sad fact that we can't act together in the midst of any problems we have but have to take extreme on the political front under the guise of freedom of speech and expression. What goes with this fact is that it may very well turn out that our enemeies will win and the left who has been and will continue to support them will find out that they will no longer enjoy any freedoms at all if they don't start standing up for this country and against the very people they now support. I found it amusing one of the talk show hosts mentioned that Rosy Odonald made the comment that that the talk show hosts are the fist to go but he pointed out it is her kind, the liberal uninformed idiots, who will receive the first bullet.

There was a poll taken the other day of democrats who by far want the president to fail in Iraq, I think it was 70% of all respondents. This is really troublesum especially when you have issues like border protection and such.

The system is setup to have balance, meaning in the modern era we need dems in the white house and repubs in the congress or Vis Versa.

The issue at hand is that the system can't work when you have division within both parties and if any of the parties are controled by the fringe nuts jobs, as in the case of the Dems (now to counter that I would say that the republicans need to take a Charles Atlas body building course to get a back bone).

I would rather have the parties of the 1940's than what we have today, it wasn't perfect then either but at least you did't have the cr*p like we have today. Both parties have lost it when it comes done to ethics and civility but by far the people who have the most hateful retoric are the dems and their supporters.

Failure from within. We need no outside enimies even though we have them. Once again History will prove right and we will self destruct, given people who like the begining posters have there way.

My hats off to them, once again I hate to see them win but they will. Hate is all they stand for in there writings and talking even though I have never heard any of them speak they must talk like they write.

They may disagree with me, but point out how much hate I have displayed and how many times in my posts? Terry? Rich? Leo? I have never seen these so called to the Right people ever post anything with hatred in the writings. Hats off True Gentlemen. And to all the other people who do not display childish acts in there writings towards others. To dislike someone is one thiing but to hate, and to write it you seem to think you gain respect. History has proven that governments that don't allow the people to question authority have become engulfed in wars that could not or should not have been fought.They usually end in a military coup.

Germany didn't ask the people about WWI. They lost.
Japan didn't ask about WWII.They lost.
Iraq didn't ask about the Iran-Iraq War. They tied but with huge casualties.

The people who got us into this(incliding Hillary and Kerry,as they voted for it)are the people that need to get us out.We have no one else(maybe the Hells Angels,if their up to it).One thing is very clear,with only 26% of the PEOPLE currently supporting the effort as it stands today,they are clearly not staisfied with the status quo.
Why not try another approach,which means getting Iraqs neighbors involved.Yes,W has declared Iran part of the axis of evil,but he started this war right next door,the big dummy!
So now he can figure it out.If the now famous "bulge"works,hip hip horay.
But if it fais,he will never be forgiven by many middle eastern countries,as well as many,many Americans.
So,W wants to roll the dice,and no one can stop him.I hope he's right.

Once again, The US public is only getting a small and very skewed view of the war. That has a lot to do with it.
