UN Gun Treaty

When our government has to get the UN involved in our basic constitutional rights on anything just to push a personal agenda, then We the People are on a sinking ship to live under tyranny imho. We are slowly sinking anyway, just look around at the on going economy and 2 pied pipers trying to get the power of the White House. Both are nitwits and you know it. There is no one to vote for that is worth a sh.............................

Our government did not involve the un. We are a member and the treaty has been in the works for years and was not started by us. If we are going to hate something lets at least be a little honest about it.

You only sort of have this one correct. True, the treaty has been in the works for years. It was always a non-starter in the US, that is, until Obama was elected. Obama was the first US president, that I am aware of, that backed this treaty AND the provisions to include privately owned firearms. He backed the 'nation registration', over seen by a UN agency as well.

PART of the reason that the US backed off this treaty, again, was the flood of emails, phone calls and letters from loud mouthed, outraged citizens to their senators and congressmen. They made it QUITE clear that they would NOT accept control, even partial control, of a foreign power over THEIR lives.

Obama has always long backed a total ban on 100% of semi-automatic firearms. He has also long backed a 100% ban on hand guns. He believes that even bullets, (look up his ideas on micro etching of bullets) should be registered and taxed.

Obama proves, almost on a daily basis, that he hates the Constitution of the United States and would do ANYTHING he can to destroy it. He was mentored by Marxists and they did a VERY good job .

This issue turned out to be too much of a political hot potato during an election year so it will be shelved temporarily. Once the election is over and if Obama is reelected I'm sure the treaty will come up again. Remember what Obama whispered to a Russian leader not too long ago, about another issue, when he didn't know he was being recorded. Something like : We can talk and do more AFTER the election.

We need to stay as loud and in your face as possible. The government MUST be controlled. The ONLY reason that it has become as oppressive as it is, is because we ALLOWED it to happen.

Freedom loving People from all parts of the country, from all religions and races, are just beginning to wake up. Freedom cannot be denied. It is FAR to powerful to be destroyed by one man or a government. Those who truly LOVE their freedom will stop at NOTHING to insure that they keep it. They are NOT AFRAID to say what they think OR to use what ever force may be needed to insure that freedom prevails.

There is a big difference between being loud and screaming bloodshed. Shouting millions will dievonly makes your argument sound deranged and thus ignored.

It would seem that you often just don't understand what I say. I have NEVER said that I WANTED a civil war nor have I ever said that I would do ANYTHING to start one. ALL I have said is that it IS coming. There WILL be bloodshed and the GOVERNMENT will be the one who starts it. THEN, and only then, will I respond.

As I have ALWAYS stated, I have NEVER started a fight. I will NOT start this one. I will, however, be prepared to fight when it is brought to me.

I will make this SO clear that even the most devote leftist can understand it. I DO NOT WANT THIS TO BE MISUNDERSTOOD!

I, as a free American, have an ABSOLUTE RIGHT TO FREEDOM. That freedom INCLUDES the RIGHT to both KEEP and BEAR ARMS. I will do what ever it takes, including being killed, if needed, to insure that the RIGHTS and FREEDOMS that are the birthright of EVERY Man, are not taken from us by this or ANY government. I was born free and will die free. FREEDOM is the birthright of EVERY Man.

There, is that clear enough? Freedom WILL die if not defended.

I thought that I have ALWAYS said that I do NOT intend to start this, that they will. Oh well, it is what it is. Maybe I don't write as clear as I should or some don't read as clear as they should. What ever. In MY mind I am consistent.

What you have to remember is many people reading these posts do not know you and might only read one or two of your posts. When you post about our country turning into another Syria and millions dining with no clarification until a few posts later they come off with a different view of your feelings. Some may even pick up a phone or shoot off an email to people who they think should know about this person who in their eyes sounds like someone about to go postal.

I can' t go postal, I don't work there! Civil war IS ugly, one only has to look at Syria to see just how ugly it can be. I learned that when I studied the War Between the States.

One also cannot qualify EVERY post. These are ongoing conversations, often intertwined with other threads.

In the long run what others may think of my post really does not matter. Nothing I write is likely to change any minds. People in here have, for the most part, already made up their minds on just about everything.

No Hooters! When I go out to eat tonight it is going to be at a REALLY good Italian place, at least it was REALLY good a couple of years ago!

In the mean time I am working on making my final choice on a new rifle. Now THAT is FUN!
