Third Party????

Your shock and awe theory while plausible, doesn't quite account for the need Keep that "door kicked in" once it's kicked in. That can only happen with the back up of a strong grassroots organization.

The issue with the Reform Party is they didn't have a bench to draw from after Perot fizzled out. Having an all-star hitter is all well and good but you need relief hitters to make a playoff caliber team.

That's what I'm saying. We need to keep the ball rolling on this. We have two choices... either make a viable third party, or take over the Republican party for good; and force the RINOs to either make their own party, or to sit down and shut up! Either way will take serious grass roots on our part. But like I said, having a RINO in office will railroad the plan - at least until the next socialist gets elected.

Electing a RINO in one cycle begets a Democrat in the next cycle. The irony that seems lost on many of the "you're throwing your vote away" crowd is the fact that 8 years of Bush led to 4, possibly 8 years of Obama.

You hit the political nail on the head, my friend.

In fact, if no conservative is running against Obama, I would RATHER him win. I look at it this way... he's a narcissist. He'll get reckless trying to promote his legacy. Congress may or may not pass his agenda; but the people will notice. Masses will join grass root organizations, like the Tea Party, partly because they'll have so much free time from having no job. A conservative will be elected to untangle the mess Obama put us in. This time, the "Reagan" will have a conservative Congress.

It's nice to dream, isn't it? :D

If I'm wasting my vote, fine. But everyone who is a conservative voting for a RINO is a sellout!

Plus, the Tea Party never would have emerged had McCain been sitting in the Oval office, despite the fact that his Policies, from a fiscal standpoint would have been as leftward as Obama's

But T-hawk, why do you think it has to be a conservative?

I mean why can't it be a classic liberal or a tea party libertarian?

By the way, the only way I can see breaking this two party thing up is to take over the RNC and force a exodus of those who are rinos and good ol' boys/girls. Outside of that we will repeat 1912 all over again and again.
