The Trump Card...

No, sorry ... despite what the radicalized MAGA Legal Beagles with their degrees from Trump University tell you:

Court filings in criminal cases often include a variety of items, including personal documents.

Those filing are often done electronically (something some of the moronic lawyers for TFG should know but apparently don't) over the "internet".

Those filings are in many cases often available publicly ... because, you know: transparency.

It's all SOP.

I would provide a thank-you for playing, but to say that any playing actually occurred would really be a stretch.

So I'll just say: Thanks for yet another # FAIL ...

:tearsofjoy:
But....but trump leaked those photos......you can't claim transparency while claiming trump leaked stuff.

Interesting. I thought these seized documents that they wanted so bad and were so precious that making them public could jeopardize National Security. But now viewing these documents are just like looking at bags of cocaine. Ok.

Well, aside from being a straw man, the public isn't actually "viewing the documents".

But you already knew that ... right ?

:tearsofjoy:

Really? Because it sure does seem like it makes a big difference to them. It appears they want to damage him, including indicating him, to prevent him from running again.

Nah ... they're just doing their job.

Precisely. Otherwise they wouldn't have had to raid his home for documents in a place where he often conducted normal business as the President, and then take the highly classified, super sekrit documents, lay them on the floor, and take pictures of the highly classified, super sekrit documents, and then leak the pictures of the highly classified, super sekrit documents to the press. Hh

No pictures were "leaked", they were submitted as part of a court filing ... in a lawsuit Trump himself brought.

Indicting Trump would in no way discourage him from running again.

Correct.

The MAGA Party is in the process of adopting a new talking point, about how he could run from prison ... just like Eugene Debs !

:tearsofjoy:

Trump has never once (at least never once that I know of) talked about not running. I think he was committed 100% to running long before he left the White House.

It's the only escape hatch he has ... due to a flawed OLC opinion.

They were declassified.

There is literally no evidence of that.

OTOH, it would appears that there is substantial testimony from former Trump Administration officials that they weren't.

Ultimately, it may come down to the testimony of the Orange Idiot and whatever other suckups, miscreants, and mooks he can muster to support his contention.

So far, he hasn't made that case in court ... which is where it really counts.

They were declassified while he was President. Presidents have that constitutional power. Subordinates do not. The law he strengthened is applicable to subordinates. Also, statutes don’t usurp constitutionally given powers. Thanks for playing.

Yeah, no ... some MAGA twatwaffle's opinion isn't "evidence".

But thanks for at least trying to play ...

:tearsofjoy:

They were declassified while he was President.

You keep repeating that ... but can't provide any actual evidence.

But thanks for at least trying to play ...

:tearsofjoy:

To declassify something ?

Sure ... but no one is arguing that they don't.

Except in certain narrow circumstances where they don't of course.

But thanks for at least trying to play ... and the bonus red herring !

:tearsofjoy:

Not entirely clear at this point ... but it will probably be litigated to a conclusion in the not too distant future.

:tearsofjoy:

Thanks for playing.

Its a good thing all of those Hilliary emails were lost, who know what kind of secrets would have been released. But also as another thought, wouldn't that basically kill any active investigation if all of the files were released unredacted?
