If that is so, then-president Trump was free to declare the documents in question declassified without offering any proof. His statement is enough.

So too, then, with Biden. He does not need to offer anything more than a statement that he re-classified the documents in question the instant Biden took office.

Documents said by a president to be declassified without evidence, can be said by a president to be re-classified without evidence too. Which statement would prevail? The one issued by the current president who has this power.

But that doesn't jive with heavy handed raid.....they waited till trump left mar largo to raid his home and take stuff not covered under the warrant....classified or not if your letting the officials to come get what they need and then you raid him....with 30 agents and take 9 hours.

I never said passports issued to Trump weren't collected ... just that those passports are not "his".

They are, in fact, property of the United States.

US property that at this point, he is still allowed to possess ... at least for now.

Unlike some other US property which he clearly isn't.
