The Trump Card...

The first rioter entered through a broken window at 2:12PM. Trump's first tweet calling for peaceful demonstrations went out at 2:38PM.
The timeline of events can be easily verified through various web searches.

Indeed.

Yeah ... really too bad you didn't go the distance and provide the full picture on Trump's actions/inactions that afternoon.

But that probably wouldn't have suited the agenda.

Gonna make another attempt to deflect ... and place the blame on the media I see.

Well, that's just incorrect.

Trump was permanently banned from Twitter on Wednesday January 8th 2020 ... after he made two tweets on that Wednesday that Twitter deemed inappropriate.

You can read about that below:

Twitter bans President Trump permanently

January 6th 2020 was the day the riot and insurrection happened.

As for FaceBook, similar situation: he was tossed off there on Wednesday January 8th 2020.

You can read about that below:

What Happened When Trump Was Banned on Social Media

January 6th 2020 was the day the riot and insurrection happened.

Appears that neither company made a formal announcement about it until the following Friday, as they took a day or so to consider what to do.

Again: January 6th 2020 was the day the riot and insurrection happened.

Not me ... it's you.

BTW: The only problem some people have with the insurrection is ... that it didn't succeed ...

You're wrong again:

The Timeline from Wikipedia:

So to recap:

1. Riot is ongoing at 2:00 PM Eastern.

2. Trump issued a tweet at 2:47 PM Eastern which closes with the words ... "Stay peaceful!" ... which WaPo later reported he did not want to include, probably after someone actually "in the room" decided they needed to sing ...

3. Trump issues another tweet by 3:25 PM ... but refuses to call upon the crowd to disperse.

4. At 4:22 PM Eastern - more than 2 hours and 20 minutes after the riot began - Trump posts a video message on social media which was later taken down by Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube ... ostensibly because it was inappropriate in light of what had just taken place.

5. Finally at 6:25 PM Eastern Trump tells his supporters to go home ... more than 4 1/2 hours after the riot started.

And you say Democrats are the ones who won't take responsibility ...

What a hoot !

:tearsofjoy:
What I see is left wing papers talking about what might have happened.....

Accounts of when what happened and what trump did are easy to find out despite what the left TRY to say is the truth.....heck even Adam Schiff got caught lieing to the public this time for alternatiering text messages from mark meadows....I trust Democrats less than I do the Russians.

Yes, they are ... which is quite unfortunate for the case you are trying to make.

That's a Classic Trump Apologist diversion: focus the attention elsewhere ...

:tearsofjoy:

I trust Democrats less than I do the Russians.

Maybe you should consider moving to Russia then ?

They really only have one party there for all practical purposes ... and as a bonus, it's run by an authoritarian.

Might suit you better ... ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯ ...

Well Kellyanne has a good head on her shoulders compared to her husband.

Sure ...

After Trump's inauguration, Conway was embroiled in a series of controversies: using the phrase "alternative facts" to describe fictitious and disproven attendance numbers for Trump's inauguration; speaking multiple times of a "Bowling Green massacre" that never occurred; and claiming that Michael Flynn had the full confidence of the president hours before he was dismissed. Members of Congress from both parties called for an investigation of an apparent ethics violation after she publicly endorsed commercial products associated with the president's daughter, Ivanka Trump.[16] In June 2019, the U.S. Office of Special Counsel recommended that Conway be fired for "unprecedented" multiple violations of the Hatch Act of 1939.[17]

No Adam schiff really did alter mark meadows cell phone text messages that were handed over to the jan 6th committee. Mark meadows even produced copys of the real text messages.

Nope - no real evidence of that.

All we know is that there is no public information available that they have been investigated/interviewed/charged/arrested.

That's something they have in common with about 1500+ other folks who were there.

Carrying the reasoning you're attempting to use to it's ultimate conclusion, one might surmise that there were 1500 informants on Jan 6th.

That's seems to be a little unlikely in my book.

I’m specifically talking about people who were there that helped facilitate as well as cause many to break the law (trespassing on restricted grounds) by taking down signage and fencing that was marked restricted. Also, the bullhorn blaring very possible informant on a scaffold telling people to fill up the capitol should be high on the wanted list by the FBI. But apparently no interest.
Many people went to see Trump speak and then walked over to the Capitol grounds. Then, when they arrived to merely gather and peacefully protest, unbeknownst to them, the barriers were already removed and restricted signage had been taken down. As they entered the restricted area (that was no longer identified as such) they were immediately deemed as lawbreakers or worse. There weren’t 1500 people that assaulted officers or destroyed property. Many were congregated on the outside of the capitol and didn’t know it was a restricted area. And many were let in to the Capitol by police later after the altercations at the tunnel. Video corroborates this.
Some want to deem people insurrectionists or worse who weren’t aware of the restricted grounds and who were just protesting in the building.
A bit of proportionality and perspective is glaringly lacking.

There was no insurrection on Jan 6, in spite of what Democrats and their friends in the media have been promoting. It was a riot and 517 rioters got arrested. It's an outrage that a similar law and order reaction wasn't seen from any federal or state authorities towards the Antifa/BLM riots in 2020.

You been conned by Conn ...

:tearsofjoy:

It was a riot and 517 rioters got arrested.

The number arrested and or charged is now over 700 ... with more arrests and charges nearly every week.

BTW - your own article that you linked says 570 arrested ... and that was back in August.

Try and keep up.

Who was President at that time ?

:tearsofjoy:

Pfffft ... no on-the-record confirmation from FBI in that article ... or the Reuters one that it's based on.

Turns out New York Proud Boy Matthew Greene's flipping and turning State's evidence is kind of a big get:

He pleads to a felony conspiracy charge ... for acting with others to stop the Congress' certification of the vote count:

Proud Boy pleads guilty to felony charge in Capitol riot

So, much to the chagrin of any resident denialists here, clearly: insurrection ...

:tearsofjoy:

The following is an interesting piece on how the government is using terrorism enhancements to provide Jan 6th conspirators with a little "motivation" to plead out and save the government from time, trouble, and expense of having to prosecute their stupid butts at trial:

BROKEN WINDOWS POLICING AND JANUARY 6 PLEA DEALS

Plea offer of a single count of obstruction, with a sentencing guidelines range of 41 to 51 months versus ... an additional 7 counts which could yield a range of 210 to 262 months.

That's 17 1/2 to almost 22 years.

I'm still waiting to see all those cases that some claimed were going to be dismissed or thrown out.

BTW - we've went over this before, but I see we need to go over it again:

That "shock and awe" thing was a creation of Trump's former US Attorney for DC, Michael Sherwin.

He's gone now ... ;)
Meet the new guy.
