Pretty sure it's a longstanding DOJ policy that they don't release transcripts of interviews where prosecutions are declined for various reasons.

But you probably knew that already.

:tearsofjoy:
They’re not prosecuting the guy ordering people into the capitol and was at the initial breach of the barriers? Interesting…

To learn more, see this:

Well, I was hoping for something more specific than Democrat talking points like requiring govt issued photo ID or other proof of citizenship. But the Jim Crow argument is a non-starter and GA is a good example of this gratuitous assertion.

He literally gave you a treasure trove of possible sources ... and that's the best you could do ?

Citing an article from a (arguably effeminate) entitled pasty white guy really isn't helping you here ...

Yes I have

Then you'd know that some arrests have taken considerable time ... even when the identity has been known.

The DOJ moves at their own pace.

If that #triggers certain folks, well ... too bad.

Pesky facts are difficult for some I see.

Sure, Jan

Do you dispute that either the first or second assertion in my response (to you) that you were replying to are not in fact true ?

If you do, what evidence do you have that that is (or is not) the case ?

I'll wait ...

You know I do agree with one thing with the Democrats.....make nov 3 a national holiday and a law making employers give time off to go vote without lunch time use to do it.

That would be a good start ... providing one doesn't restrict voting in other ways that prevent citizens from otherwise participating (on "Election Day")

An example would be doing what you suggest ... but then restricting (or eliminating) early or absentee voting.

IOW: One hand giveth ... while one hand taketh away.

Well, I was hoping for something more specific than Democrat talking points ...

"The modern approach to voter suppression can often be characterized as death by a thousand cuts — seemingly minor rules about issues like voter ID, mail voting, resource allocation at polling places, and voter roll maintenance can add up to create significant burdens, particularly on communities of color.

"It is thus often difficult to understand the full impact of new restrictive voting laws when looking at any one provision by itself. And new provisions that seem less burdensome at first glance are sometimes indicative of a broader push to sabotage election outcomes that may not be as obvious."

The voter suppression I refer to is more than "Democratic talking points." Actual bills are being introduced, actual laws are being passed, and the actual effect being now seen is fewer people registering to vote and fewer people (true citizens who are entitled to vote) able to easily obtain absentee or mail-in ballots.
