The Boom America is Forfeiting

And that is exactly what this organisation is - each Country doing there part in their own Country.
What most of us do "in our own backyard", as one example, is recycling.
What the Governments are doing is on a larger scale for example reducing emissions.

Whether you realise it or not the USA is doing their part and, as shown last night is number 61 out of 163 in the Countries standings as of 2010.

I don't think in any of my posts I mentioned that the problems are man made.

Again I was giving an example of what is happening in the world not the USA, in reference to Nuclear testing.

Government is doing NOTHING other than writing reports. ALL of the REAL work is being done either by private industry OR private organizations. Government is SLOWING the progress.

The USA is doing their part ONLY because every day Americans are doing it themselves.

Government is a JOKE, here, and every where else. ONLY the People can fix this. Most here, and every where else, don't DO ANYTHING.

Sue, just for the information...The city I live in gives the people within the city limits a discount on your garbage fee if we recycle....I refuse to recycle, never have and never will...as i pointed out, follow the money...

In UK we do not get any benefits except the recycling bins

Yep and that is NOT a problem!! I can someday introduce you to an entire host of scientists that I know who work on this stuff daily. I learn from them.

They can PROVE what they see going on. One guy last year, the head evironmentalist for Consumer's Power, I think that is who you will get your power from, was explaining just how much the government was impeding their work to clean up emissions and exactly how much it is going to cost you, and I, to pay for it all. Came to an increase of almost 25% in your annual bill. AND IT WILL HAVE NO EFFECT. The NEW regs from EPA, if allowed to go into effect, will also drive up the cost of Portland Cement AND cause HUGE problems finding ways to dispose of coal ash.

It is VERY interesting to listen to these people.
