The only way to know that is to ask them. I know nothing about their mindset but it is not inconceivable they consider Jones one of their chief advocates and friends. On the other hand, they may consider the casket gesture highly offensive or heartbreaking. Unless they tell us, we won't know what they think and feel about Jones and his use of that prop.I wonder what was going through the minds of the parents of the three 9 year-olds who were killed at the Covenant School when they saw these videos and pictures?
And they issued a statement welcoming him back. Was that in the rules too?Even if Jones intended to seriously represent the interests of the constituents of TN 52, he obviously have the mental capacity to carry it out. However this guy is all about attracting attention to himself. He's a professional protester and demonstrator; a "community organizer". The confounding reality is that the public has to tolerate the antics of people like this because TN law doesn't allow for him to be removed from the legislative office for which he is unfit. To place blame on the Republicans for providing him a stage for his antics doesn't stick - that's on the voters of his district. The majority in the House is obligated and required to enforce the rules, and that's what they did when they voted him out.
