Swapped in a load from a '68 Falcon, at Mt Vernon, IL and took it a whole 27 miles to Nashville, again IL. Hey, it's a run. Now back at the J in Mt. Vernon.

My right rear Firestone gave out on me yesterday after about 145k....yes, there are still some threads left on it, Lol.... It couldn't handle the 1/2 inch bolt left on the road by who knows who. Going tires shopping this morning.

Anyway, managed to pull off just slightly under 2k loaded miles last week.

Good Morning folks!

Good luck ... let me know in about 3 months how things are working out ... they have a habit of not getting freight out of or into the freight area you live in ...IMO ... so its like they don't want you going home ... i still have 5 friends that have been there longer than i was or close ... But they have been looking for Greener grass ... again i hope it works out for you guys and just voicing my opinion...
I just hope the driver is okay with it as I no longer have a dog in that fight as I won't be driving for them. They pay us the money that's supposed to go to the van I'm golden. I'm just excited about not having to make the payment out of my own pocket anymore haha

So about to start week 3 of driving that means I'll be on the road cruising around trying to learn how to shift at speed. But now I gotta start looking at the billions of trucking companies out there and to be honest I'm lost because they all seem the same. I mean what to do

On Fri. left KC after I dropped and moved up to the fishing hole northeast of here. Got called for a load recovery from Waterloo to somewhere near Sioux City. Told them I needed to go east toward Toledo. Nothing else went down, so off I went to see Wayne the Sprinter tech in Toledo. Stayed in service while van was being serviced and no calls. On my way home got a call from dispatch asking if I could be tied up for a few days and of course I said yes. Got a load that picked up off the dock and delivered Mon. morning in Alliston On. Now waiting to pick up and head to the DC area for tomorrow. So that makes 11 loads in 15 days. Let's continue to ride this out of control train. May everybody have a most prosperous week.

Good morning out on the pond this morning, however my macro point must have retired while I was off...won't turn on!
Try to press and hold on/off switch for about 30 sec. Also ensure the unit is fully charged. Good luck.

Edit: I used to have the unit, same thing happened. Took the cover and battery out wipe and cleaned the contacts, put it back and turn it back on. It works:)
