My Freightliner Sprinter is a 2011...3.0L V6 Diesel so fortunately the OEM German Parts I ordered from Europarts below (already on their way to me-YEAH!) will fit on my Vehicle. Excited to get the old removed, new installed plus I checked my front brake pads and they're due (rear were fine). Already have the Pads here waiting. I'll do my oil/oil filter change this month as well my engine and cabin air filters I keep in stock here. Bought several cases of ESP Mobil 1 Oil for $5.99 at Napa this Month so I'm good for the rest of '15.
You Drivers here are a Plethora of Helpful Information. You don't know over the years how much I appreciate and can count on your help and advice! EO Rocks!

Also RockAuto.com has Sprinter parts now very well priced.....

First day of class in the truck
Oh...the fun part begins!!! Enjoy!
I wouldn't discount dropping n hooking at the very least your first year Driving. Nothing wrong with that. Most Trucking Companies will consider a new Driver with a year's worth of Driving before hiring. Nothi wrong with a Dry Van to get your feet wet. Especially if they're paying .50 cpm after 6 months.

Here's a picture of "blue girl"View attachment 11920

She's as old as me btw
NICE! We drove three different old Gals at Trainco Truck Driving School.
Red Truck...me n Ernie, my First Trainer. Rack n Pinion broke after Day two. Switched me to another Trainer.
Lasted 1.5 Days....he no longer Trained Males or Females, I was promised that! (the poor 8 women before me!!!) then my final trainer....well, she was a hoarder, an ok Trainer, once left me at the Truck Stop (didn't check the Bunk) HA!. Couldn't sit in the Passenger seat and the floor was covered. All I knew was I wanted to get Trained and into my own nice, clean, organized Truck. She wanted me to Team with her! HA! Fat Chance sweetheart! My lower bunk was clear and clean...her upper she slept on the edge. I could write a Book you all!
Don't worry, you won't have these experiences Young Man! I'm glad I did. It opened my eyes, the widest ever in my protected life!
Six weeks later and I finally got my own Black Beauty of a Truck! Loved Driving her! But not for .25 cpm after 6 months of driving. Nope.

Morning chuckle:.....
One morning the husband returns after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap. Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short distance, anchors, and reads her book.

Along comes a Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says, "Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?"

"Reading a book," she replies, (thinking, "Isn't that obvious?")

"You're in a Restricted Fishing Area," he informs her.

"I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading."

"Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up."

"If you do that, I'll have to charge you with sexual assault," says the woman.

"But I haven't even touched you," says the game warden.

"That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment."

"Have a nice day ma'am," and he left.

Oh my that hoarder lady must've been one hellatious trainer and driver lol. I'm now in a international 9200i that's an '02 model a little rough but seems mechanically sound. Engine area and all the stuff on Pretrip is pretty clean. Black Beauty is a pretty truck.

back in my day....I had a problem with splitting gears (my timing sucked) ....so they had me in a straight shift, gas model used for yard shunting.....that was allowed back in those days....

With a trailer? OMG....longest I had to deal with were 40 footers.....the 45's were just coming out...

Good GOD, man! You're Methuselah! o_O

Eventually, I plan on moving back down to a 36-40' trailer. Not too many understand why. "Cause I feel like it" is good enough a reason, but I have a tactical one as well. But with the talk of going up to 60', when we can't make a city turn in a 53' without running the curb or the oncoming turn lane, well all I can say is "Good luck!"
