The West needs to be looking at the possibility that Putin will use nuclear blackmail to accomplish this.
After all ... why wouldn't he ... he's already doing it in Ukraine ?

The US-NATO response should that any such attacks will be considered to be an attack on NATO itself and military actions in response under Article 5 will be immediately forthcoming.
It's time to stop worrying about what the Ruskies might do and make them worry about what NATO might do.

Losses continue to mount.
I think the aircraft/helio losses are pretty impressive ... because the level of training required to be a skilled pilot is pretty substantial, as compared to other military roles. Regardless of whether they are killed or captured they are out of the fight permanently.

Geo-political "Jenius" and Orange Menace should keep his energies focused on:
1. Finding competent legal representation ... that is willing to represent him for the prospect of no pay.
2. Figuring out which insiders from his former administration are preparing to shiv him ... in exchange for immunity from prosecution.
3. Working much, much harder on practicing his "4D" chess moves.
4. Getting Junior to lay off the toot ... or at least slow down a little.

If this guy ends up getting taken out, it could result in the destabilization of Chechnya ... which might give Pooty another calamity to worry about.
Beyond that though, there are reports that Chechyn forces have been deployed as rear guards ... to assassinate RU soldiers who desert and the wounded The dead will likely never be repatriated to RU ... which solves the problem of having to financially compensate their families and loved ones.
