Their warning to FacePalm was general, didn't address the laptop specifically.
Specific enough that they knew there would be a “dump” coming soon . And it came right after that.
Because they were monitoring Guiliani’s e-mail traffic they seized.
No announcement from the FBI because they were burying the story:

Chamberlain kept Great Britain out of a war at a particular time when they very likely would have lost. Thus saving hundreds of thousands of British lives.

Chamberlains 1938 actions gave Hitler the green light to invade Czechoslovakia, the Sudenland, Norway, speed up the Haulicaust and the near distraction of London. The Blitz, which continued long after the end of the Battle of Britain, resulted in over 40,000 civilian deaths and over 50,000 injured.

And what would have happened if Great Britain lost in 1938,(likely) because they were ill-prepared at the time?
There's no telling what would have happened. We can't play the what if game. We just can't play it again.
There would have been no second front to defeat Germany. Chamberlain’s actions at the time allowed Great Britain to implement their radar defense system and produce their vaunted spitfire fighting planes in adequate enough numbers to compete with the Luftwaffe. GB was not ready at the time and the German Air Force would have controlled the air and decimated the Royal Navy, thus allowing an invasion and subsequent defeat. Chamberlain saved thousands of lives because he knew Britain’s capability at the time.
Had Chamberlain acted differently it is pretty much guaranteed the UK would have lost and been consumed. Without the UK physically for the land and bases and physically for the allied troops the US would not have been able to contribute as we did. The outcome of the entire war likely would have been different. But disagree and deny. Nobody is forced to be correct.
