No angriness here and I do have our best interest at heart. As in anyplace you work for their are bad apples. Granted that applies to maybe 5% of our fleet but they always seem to end up here like a moth to a flame. The problem is that when I see one of our drivers' on here speaking a mistruth without telling the "whole" story I take offense to that. DaveKC is correct, the average tenure of my dispatchers right now is 3-6 months. Of course they're going to screw up. There is a ton of info for them to learn in a very short amount time. Yes turnover is a little high, why you ask?...Would you want to be constantly screamed at by drivers' for 8+ hrs a day for not an extremely high wage? Why does it appear I can be gruff?...Like I mentioned before I have a great relationship with 95% of our fleet. The ones that have issues with me are the ones that send nasty QC msgs, calling in cursing at dispatchers, the constant whiners/complainers no matter what you do for them. It's gotten to the point for these few that we're doing everything but holding the steering wheel for them.
