I just had a flashback...

Anybody remember "voodoo economics"? LOL...

Well, I'm at home. Great doctor visit today, lost 4 lbs!! And, I'm not really trying. I have this crazy idea that I should keep track of the mt miles home and until I get my next load. Of course, I will be going down to Fort Wayne, In. to get the seal replaced on my sleeper before my next load. Those miles must have some kind of particular category...

Oh yeah, that's right... it's... empty!!

Maybe you need to get out of expediting and become a mobile cook for all the hungry expeditors out there, just saying:)

Good money day, bad stress day, no time for lunch or any breaks. Guess I shouldn't complain, being busy is better then being slow!!!
Almost every single delivery and pickup today was a hassle and a true test of my patience

Just tryin' to add a little humor and levity to what is no doubt a very difficult situation ..... :)

FWIW, this summer I took a significant amount of time off .... to the point of fairly significant financial pain, due to not being in service and producing income, to handle some things around the home ........ and now when I do come back in service, I find the freight market is in a slow period .... so it's not like I don't have some empathy for his situation, from an entirely personal perspective ... :D

The economy is what it is, not much to be done about it .... other than just grin and bear it  .... and look forward to better times ;)
