You were apparently educated when they were still teaching the "old math" ....Then how do you account for those miles?? I consider all the miles from the time I drop a load till the next load is in my truck deadhead miles.
Well, on the upside, at least he may have a better shot at avoiding criminal prosecution ....miguy you will never be able to get a job at author anderson
I've said many times..I haven't a clue my bottomline is..You were apparently educated when they were still teaching the "old math" ....
Obviously, the "new math" is much better for one's bottomline ....
Hey - maybe if you did that enough, it would be somehow possible to actually have negative deadhead ?
How would that work ? ..... maybe ya count it against your loaded miles driven, reducing them ..... and jacking up the per mile rate ?
Yeah, yeah ..... that's the ticket ....
I've said many times..I haven't a clue my bottomline is..
Bills are paid, money in the bank, momma's happy...everyones happy....I am not anal about accounting for every mile...
I don't need too....
then again I am not as boasterous as some are...*pointing at my buddy Chef*...and ducking...*LOL*
Outstanding man ! .... I believe you may be getting the hang of it ...I like this new math. I just deadheaded home from Baraboo, WI. I have a dentist appointment Monday morning. Um, 225 negative deadhead miles... wow this load paid almost $3.00/mile!
I'm not really sure ..... but I think I see where you are going with all of this: obtaining paid vacations ..... simply by driving while OOS .... truly a masterstroke !I'm thinking about after the dentist thing I may just go OOS until Friday. Does this new math work towards my in-service time positively in a negative way? Or does it count on the positive side in a negative way?

You might wish to consider posting the highlighted portion above as part of your signature where it will show on every post you have made .... so that the innocent and unsuspecting who read here are adequately forewarned .....i don't do things like most of you and wouldn't ever expect you to do as i do .. but the difference is, I don't worry about my buttom line and never have ... lol
Well, it's certainly true:i have lost money on paper on every business i have been in except the personal chef business and this one is no different.
The highlighted words are the key....i have lost money on paper on every business i have been in except the personal chef business and this one is no different.
Yes .... but the real question is: what door does it unlock .... ?The highlighted words are the key....
Sorry ... but I really wasn't pointing out any spelling mistakes - it's you that's putting that there ....As for the misspelling, yeap i am just a dummy and I haven't read the book "spelling for dummies" yet.... It good to know that I can depend on you to point the mistakes out though..
That kinda puts things into a different perspective. I'm thinking about driving back to Baraboo for the weekend. But that would be more bad deadhead miles. I'm so confused. I should probably delay my vacation until the end of January and keep it to about 10 days total as planned.Take your odometer reading from today, subtract the odometer reading from January 1 to get your total miles driven. Then, from that figure subtract your loaded miles for the year. What you have left over is deadhead miles. Divide your deadhead by your total miles and that's your DH percentage.
