Guess I'll head that way after breakfast. Just had a shower. Feel almost human again.

That does suck when you get pushed back like that. Need to give them the shorties come Mon morn.

Like I told you on the phone, I was #1 out of 10 and when I finally got dispatched I was #1 out of 5.

*** Remember, as I said when we started MAC 19, it is not the gospel, especially in Detroit. We have units that just run local or just run Canada or shorties. ***

We left the house Tuesday night and ran everyday. Great job by dispatch. Ended up the week with a nice run to brownsville. Deliver Monday and hopefully get back at it right away with a load out.

Yep, wish there was a way to weed those out, but it is what it is. Kinda hard to get a real picture around the yard.

Ya, we don't understand that either. We are a team and we will do short loads. Granted, after a few we want a long one but often them shorties pay well and as well they should. I wouldn't do one cheap but as long as its paying well take it and run. Work smarter not harder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trust is a must Ron.....Trust your dispatch to get you loaded in a timely manner...:D

Trust is not the issue Ken. For example, you come in from out of town. Deliver in Wixom, Dearborn or wherever in Detroit. You do a MAC 19. Comes back #10. So do you stay put, go to the yard or even go to Perrysburg? Closest to the load remember! Are you really 10 out of 10 or 4 out 10, 6 being local and Canada. There's really no way of knowing that. So you go to the yard. Do I have time to do laundry, take a shower or go to Isis? When you're away from the yard, its pretty much cut and dry. Oh sure you get a curve ball once in awhile, but for the most part you can plan your business a little better.

But that's just the way it is. No biggie.

Keep in mind, I don't call and I don't go up there and bug them except to get a towel, because I do trust them to call me when they need me and to follow the order of availability.

oh wait..clocks go back....we gain an hour sleep...LOL

thanks for the heads up totally forgot, luckly this time it's in our favor so only earily pick ups or del. if anyone has one and missed the time change.

Maybe a fleet message would be a good reminder for people like me who forget what state there in

At the yard. Boy is this place packed. Can't unload till Monday, so its laundry and oil chance time inthe morning. Going to Isis in the morning for breakfast, if anyone wants to join us.

Yes is it packed. These people need to take these bobtails home or something. Was gonna park behind the shop but couldn't get a good WiFi signal, so I'm right behind the crossdock on the northern fence line snuggled in between two bobtails.

Im at home, truck is loaded and deliver Monday morning in Dearborn.

First 3 days of the week left a lot to be desired but since getting the truck classification straightened out I seemed to move better. Hoping this coming week is much better.

we dont worry about the 19 to much. if at the yard we do one and if there is a few in front of us we do what we need if its less than three we generally just wait as you never know. i do understand that it is different for you small straights and sprinters. i dont know that without alot of programing headaches that john can make it any better. we dont generally even do one away from the yard with the exception of a few cities here and there. we generally just trust we will be dispatched in order and take the down time to relax or do the small tasks that need taken care of.

on another note, made it into edinburg lastnight. at the j, get a shower this morning then play around the rest of the day. need to get to the HEB and get some hamburgers and s few other things and then make our way on over to brownsville to our del. and spend the night. kinda cloudy down here this morning but the temp is pleasant. hope everyone else has a great day !!!!!!!!!!!!!
