I was there a little over a week ago. still finding lady bugs/jap beetles in the van. they were everywhere when i was there

So far no bugs, maybe because its a little breezy. The wind is forecasting to blow in the 30 mph range with gusts to 40. Atleast it's out of the south and gonna be in the 60s.
Did you get a load out of here or did you DH out?

Methinks if they want to Dh home for the weekend they should go out of service..but that's just my opinion. Heck..we live out in the boonies and you go OOS when you come home.
We have some Canadian guys across the river that might have come home...and they show up on 19....not to worry..

Guess I'll head that way after breakfast. Just had a shower. Feel almost human again.
That does suck when you get pushed back like that. Need to give them the shorties come Mon morn.
Like I told you on the phone, I was #1 out of 10 and when I finally got dispatched I was #1 out of 5.

Got Loaded out of Milford NH yesterday!! a 18 mile DH!! I was impressed!! Delivered late last night in Whitehall PA...We have a Sprinter driver that lives reall close to the place I delivered, He parks his truck in their yard....When I seen that sitting there way out of the way, I called in to see how many hours he had been sitting there..Joe said he was OOS for a while...there was no one around the truck, and there was no where to walk to do do anything..so...
Anhow, I beat feet down to the 2nd home of TriState Expeditng, the "J" at Carlisle PA...you ever notice how man of them you see here when you get here, there are always 4-6 CV's here from TriState...LOL, but most of the time, I have been dispatched out of here around them...
This week, baseball , I mean Load 1 has been "very very good to Dennis"..didn't get my 1st run until Tues., then 6 dispatches, 1 dry run, 5 nice runs...if it ends today, thats ok, I might just DH down to Hagerstown for a steak dinner tonight then run back up hear sunday to start the new week....

I finally figured out how Denny's makes their butter milk pancakes. Add a little milk to the batter, grill the batter put a stick of butter on top. Hence butter milk! *l*

Took a shower, ate buttered milk pancakes at Denny's, added 2 1/2 gallons of DEF sent a QC msg headn to Des Moines put on my cheap sunglasses and started east.
Just as I got to downtown Omaha, the Great Houdini, Caryn called. I see your on the move, got a load picking up Mon morn in Hull IA going to Elgin IL.
The rate is Sooo good that it covers the DH on this load and most of the DH from last week Okie city to Bentonville AR and still have a little left for that new pair of shoes for mama!
Gets me back to the freight lanes too. Yippie!
