I thought...carriers had an English stipulation that one must be able to communicate as in read and write in english and comprehension???? If his is worse then hers...I can see some problem with that.

What a great thread. Illustrating the trials and tribulations of the business, known as expediting. There are so many facets discussed here that I lived, then eventually drove me out.
Having spent 2 years with the "big boy", I encountered all to seldom,situations that totally defied logic. I absolutly bent over backwards trying to conform, and at the same time, remain profitable. When the companys actions continue to force one into an unprofitable corner, I had to make a dash to freedom.
It appears our Russian Friends here are experiencing the kinds of things that can make you go whacky. Some can just roll on and deny the reality of what just happened, others seek a justifiable explanation. These folks are obviously gifted with experience and already have the abilities to fill deck space. [on their own] I have this feeling this trucks not going to have any problems producing an income. Dad in the truck and Mama on the phone at home = $$$'s

Where'd I say typing skills? I mentioned English comp. That MIGHT be another reason for Re-orientation. Even though some recruiters do speak a language of thier own...like Pantherese!! Or Fedexation. *L*

Wow...8 pages of posts...Maybe they ought to try a cargo van?? I've done pretty well as I have 54,000$ in gross revenue last year. I guess I can't complain about Panther. And I put my van on in February, so that was 11 months worth of driving. another month and I might have grossed 60,000$

OVM, my English don't have to do anything about the slow seson or the uncomplided job of the recruting...........If you know at list one other languches I will considered = of me, but you probablu don't know on off English go to NY,NY and I am sure you will look like lost in the jungle, because in NY,NY the accent it is differnat or take Texas the same every one have differant accent like in KY only said - POP for a drinks. Learn the English in USA and make the commnets about my English or I invat you to comme in the summer to stagy Russin - stady russina an have a fun becuse in Russia now living a lot od americans and lot a cmming to get a married with a pretty russian girls and this people like the broken English .......... I was all ways with my housband make or not make the money he is ny idol..........and for better or worst I am with him from home or with him all ways togher for 25 years.I wish to all man to have thier wifes allways with them. My housbavd lost his brother on age 2 only and he still talk about him and he said- He is my ANGEL GUARDIAN the same with you I can see by your word thatyou loved your bro very very much . Sorry againe for the loss!!!!!!!I am wrighting now and craying because I have my brother in Europa but for 25 years a see him only 3 times and I don't know well his kids because I am not in my country, when I left I left during the kommunist regim and if I was going baek I will be stay in prison because I was one of this anti activist. After the regim come down I was 3 times and this is ............the short time to see him and his kids .........
