I don't think she could win if she does run. What she needs to do is found a new political party. A party that can really challenge the Dumb-O-Crats and the ReBumLiCans. This country is ripe for something fresh, there will never be a better time than now. As long as we continue to elect that same bunch of duds we will continue to have what we have. Remember that old saying: "For things to change you must change what you are doing." Don't expect a different outcome with the same worn out parties in office. I would be more than happy to help her write the party platform.

I have come to the realization that we will never have another constitutionalist in the WH. Not enough people care about it. I also used to think a third party would benefit the conservatives. Now, I don't think so. We need to push the RHINOs out of the Republican party... same way the Dems have isolated the blue-dogs.

They call the Republicans the party of "NO", and I agree. At least they SHOULD be the party of NO; tho they haven't been in the last 10 yrs. Someone needs to tell the country that the government cookie jar is empty, and it's up to the individual to grow their own food.

Ain't much OVM? I think that they ain't nuthin!! I agree with TenneseaHawk, there may never be another president that believes in our Constitution. Too many of the People don't even know what it is. What an un-believable shame that is. To abandon one of the greatest documents penned in human history. A document that limits the power of government and gives the People control of the their government. Why would anyone want to give that up for any reason or promise? Anything less than our freedoms is called slavery.

I am very much afraid that you are right. I, for one, cannot fathom being that weak of mind and lacking in drive to allow anyone or government to do for me. Anything less than the pure joy of making it on your own is nothing more than waiting to die.

Obama and his ilk are scared to death of those of us who believe in our Constitution. That is why they are such a great hurry to ram as much of this socialist swill through before enough of us wake up and fight it. Once that complete their takeover they know that it will very hard to dis-lodge it. Then they can take their time in taking out the pockets of resistance to their socialist utopia. They will start by ridicule of those who stand up to them, isolating them as much as possible and finally, if needed, use force to finish them off.

The ridicule and character destruction is now an everyday thing in our press. The left attacks the person since they know that their argument is too weak to stand the light of day. Attack the person and the opposing argument then appaers at least as weak as their own does.

A Eastern Congressman was seated next to a little girl on the airplane leaving from Washington, DC, when he turned to her and said, “Let's talk. I've heard that flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger.”
The ranch-raised little girl, who had just opened her book, closed it slowly and said to the total stranger, “What would you like to talk about?”
“Oh, I don't know,” said the urban congressman. “How about global warming or universal health care”, and he smiles smugly.
“OK”, she said. “Those could be interesting topics. But let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff – grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, and a horse produces clumps of dried grass. Why do you suppose that is?”
The legislator, visibly surprised by the little girl's intelligence, thinks about it and says, “Hmmm, I have no idea.”
To which the little girl replies, “Do you really feel qualified to discuss global warming or universal health care when you don't know sh!t?”:D

My sister-in-law just got back from Dc from a conference with other western states on how to protect themselves from federal interference from Obama and the HC pending...how to apply States rights to stop this crap.

This is setting up not unlike the mess we had when we had our Civil War. States demanding their RIGHTS under the Constitution and a Federal Government bent on control. I know my whimp of a State won't have the guts to tell the Feds where to stick it. If pushed I may have to move to a State with the sense to stand up to them.

I have been looking at lots of places, many have good and bad about them. I hate the thought of moving, again, but will if forced. My problem is that no place I have looked at has enough fresh water for my liking. I am spoiled with these big fresh water seas that we are blessed with in Michigan. It is a shame that the politics is dominated by victims, whimps and whiners!! You know, Dumb-O-Crats!!! :D

NOOOOOO, I just know that no State has the fresh water resorces, walleye fishing, muskie fishing, perch fishing or open water duck hunting like we have here. I would miss it, a lot. If forced to move I would be trying to get as much of all of that as I can. It will be difficult since there is no other place with all of what I want.

What would be better if Michigan got it's "guts" back and told the Feds just how we intend to do things our way and choose not to become "wards of the Federal government" In other words, choose freedom over being kept people. Men instead of pets.
