I'm waiting for your answer to my other question.

I didnt bring up the other items. I challenge your statement about TM, I did not divert to other things so I see no need to comment on them. Duck and cover is not what I was going for.

No duck and cover involved here on my part. I asked a simple question, before you made your last comment. I am simply asking that you take a crack at it.

Which entity, worldwide, has benefited most from the 911 attacks?

That's easy. Big oil.

I'd say one has benefited more.
Don't go all conspiracy theory crazy on me Hawk. Some think that whoever benefited from something were therefore ego had-to-be involved with it in the first place. That's post hoc, ego propter hoc logical fallacy and is almost never correct. Just because the Israeli hardliners greatly benefited, or the US military industrial complex benefited, or those in power who were looking for ways to strip the US citizens of even more rights benefited, doesn't mean that any of them were involved with 911.

So, I'll bite, who benefited more from 911 than Big Oil?

The United States government benefited with a HUGE power grab, at the peril of the citizenry. Not saying that they were the culprits; but they never let a crisis go to waste either.

I don't know that this HUGE power grab amounted to really all that much more power than they had before 911. And in the context of worldwide, the US Government actually has less power now than before 911. Other countries question our motives and outright reject us now, where prior to 911 they simply succumed to our will.

Our worldwide influence was definitely taken to a low, we came out of this looking really bad and mostly because we attacked ourselves from within.

Regardless, it was an extreme power grab, from the liberty of the people to the intrusion by the government. I don't live in New York, dammit; and I sure as hell expect not to be treated as such. If New York wants a socialist government, dictating every little thing in their miserable lives, that's their poison, and they're welcome to it. Same with California. I didn't ask for it; and I surely as hell didn't vote for it.
