I'm at home. All week. Then my niece, her husband the the two-year old will be here all weekend, so I'll be here all weekend, too.
That steering rack I replaced a week or so ago worked fine for 4 days, then it started doing the same thing the other one did, which is not work. Got another one ordered and on the way. The first one was $600, then replacement, same exact part, is $207. Rock Auto. The price difference pays for 2-day shipping and the labor to install it. Kewl.

Good Morning All!! Sittin in McAllen Tx where it is a, shall we say "thrending upward 80 here and heading for 95... Changed the oil in the generator this morning as i drank coffee, wanted to get it done before the sun got too hot...Got all the windows in the Cargo Max covered and the generator is humming the AC is blowing cold and we should be comfortable until dispatch calls sometime today.
I'll tell you, setting up the generartor on the swingout is sooo much easier to get things going!! As soon as i get to a city that is located around enough water that there are boat sales and services, I'll pickup all the stuff to finish the gas line hookup directly from the truck gas tank and that will make it even nicer....but i do think i might invest in a rooftop unit this winter and have it ready to go for next summer...then all I'll have to do is plug it in, and strat the generator....
Anyhow, I got the QC message about being in service or OOS for the Holiday weekend....I am thinkin that if i am close to home, I'll head there and stay in service and go with the flow..I'll need the the weekend of 6/9 off as my baby girl has her graduation walk that weekend..then as Jenny said, I should be good to go until expo except for a stop off at home from 73 till 7/5 grandma's and my oldest daughters Birthdays....

Thanks John, I hate to bug 'em, but I did call in again.. Kristi said they are trying.. asked Mike I think she said, and he said they bid on several yesterday around me, but didn't get them. Asked me to stay put for now....
As long as I know they're looking, I can deal with it... just sitting 4 days got me lil antsy LOL.

Started off so cool this morning had to put pants on to hoe the garden...picked some radishes, dill and chives for lunch to go along with that great smelling roast and baked potatoes and sweet corn I'm cooking for my cousin.
I now have shorts on, front blinds drawn against the sun and it's gonna inch up to the high 80's here today. Hope I don't have to break down and turn on the a/c..but I will if the wind dies down. Anyone get lucky yet?
