Ohioians speak properly!

At the Petro in Little Rock, AR, still waiting on a load. Sorry others are slow also but glad it isn't just us. Dispatch will get us going soon though, I have faith in them.

Thanks Dennis for the welcome. Thank you to Ken, Tj, Dennis, and Don for helping us out with making the switch, and getting used to things. Everyone at Load1 is great, including dispatch, who keeps surprising us. Overall, moving over was a great decision, and I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner.

Well got to West Memphis about 1 am and got a call at 7 am with a load offer to pick up at 2 pm in Collierville, TN to deliver in Fort Madison, Iowa at 2 am tomorrow.
So now we are pick up the load and off to the drop off point.
Gotta love dispatch!
Met another driver from Load1 this morning at the Petro in West Memphis, TN. He als is new to Load1. He arrived right after we did, another straight truck. Unfortunatley he was broke down waiting for service to show with a part that was being next day delivered today.
He was telling us how he was so happy that he made the change to Load1. He said that Load1 was actually concerned about his safety and his welfare. He said he was trying to arrange financally to take care of the break down and was told that was not necessary that Load1 was going to have it taken from settlements. They helped with getting his service organized. He is an owner operater and was very impressed with the support he is getting from Load1. He wishes he would have made the switch earlier also.
He says he doesn't get on EO much but does once in awhile, and will be back on soon to let everyone no how happy he is with Load1.
Anyone who is with Load1 all seem to feel the same way about being with them, best business decision they have made!
Keep up the great work Load1!

Ohioians? yeah just listen to Guido or Chef one day...they speak funny....:D

Our so-called "Accent" is normal to most, but odd to you, because of where you were brought up, and where you live..Stay here long enough and you, yourself, may begin to speak and spell normal...in good time...

And we all know that Canadians don't have any accent, EH:D

At the Flying J in Wayland, MO. Dispatch will have to work miracles to get us out of here. We offered to move but they say they are actively looking to get us out. So who knows they may suprise us.

In clearwater fl. The ac compressor decided to take a crap at 413,000. Oh darn, we have to stay until tuesday when they can get us in the shop. Enjoying the beach, and the little motel we found until then, wondeful 80 degrees and sunny.

I had some, but we did a ilittle shopping today, then enjoyed the pool, sun and the beach. Hung out with a few retired couples from Canada, a good hilarious bunch. All topped off with a night time walk on the beach.

Sucks being broken down, since the compressor is chewing up the belt a bit so we can't drive far distances, but I can't think of a better place to be broken down. At least we get to take a little vacation that we haven't allowed ourselves to take.

Can't wait to do this again tomorrow. Then Tuesday off to the dealer to get fixed up and then back to hard running thanks to the Load 1 crew.
