Head and chest cold is starting to break up....might be back in service tomorrow...

Going up soon to start the sprinter after 5-6 days...we'll see how that goes...

Dennis..I've had it do that re-boot thingee after just 24 hours....it freezes up then tries to re boot, freezes and re-boots...it unpredictable...apparently Steve in IT can do a SOFT reboot and info will be saved or Qualcomm can do a hard start and any info on the screen will be lost

Nick, They are Trojan J305E-AC 6 volt Floor Scrubber batteries.
They are 14 3/8ths tall / 7 wide / 12 1/4 long and weight 83 lbs and 305 amp hrs...Here is a link to them:

The guy in St Louis has 18 of them in stock, I have called local Trojan battery people and they have to order them and they run $220-$250 each exchange...the St Louis guy is holding 2 of them for me at $177.30 plus tax exchange...IF I pick them up...

Here is his contact info:

DH'd out of El Paso last night making i to Odessa...Talked with dispatch and let them know I am heading to St Louis Mo by late tonight...I know its hard to hit a moving target so I really ain't expecting much...

I'll pickup the batteries for the new van in the am and then beat feet for home, Then head to Columbus Oh fri morning to get the new van if all goes well. Will then be oos for most of the week as I get the new toy ready for service. Shooting to be in Taylor the 24th for the QC install and the "Stripe" package...get the new driver in orientation and in this van and on the road...

Now if it all falls in place as planned, we should be back in service on fri the 25th...

Picked up the batteries this morning @ 7 AM !!! I couldn't believe that opened that early..Called angie with all the info to insure the new van..Called the dealer and everything is on schedule to pick it up around noon tomorrow...

Getting gas in Effingham, ill and that will take me all the way home to a shower and a good dinner!!! :)

I'll start posting pictures over the weekend when I get the thing home and start tearing it apart and then putting it back together again!!

PS: If any of you are in the market for batties for your house bank, the Trojn batteries are the best and the guys at Staab Battery are also great to work with. They stock the right batteries and they price them right...they will ship them anywhere but if you pick them up, thy will give you the best price available...The Hazelton Mo facility is about 15 minutes from the Pontoon Beach "J" and picking them up is worth it.

The batteries I bough retail in the $250 area...I didn't have cores because , i don't own a commerical floor scrubber...lol..They sold me the batteries for $166.50 ea plus a $20 core charge...now if you have regular (smaller) batteries as a corethey will credit you for them...depending on type and size, will determone the amount of credit....

If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll give you the contact info...I will be back to buy 2 more in a few months....

Man is this house ever quiet when Ken leaves...cats are sleeping and haven't got the tv or radio on..all I can hear is the wind outside...now where the heck did he put the remote?

Made the mistake of running the truck thru a new car wash in town and spent about an hour polishing off the wax buildup..sure is sparkly now though.
