Hey folks, since I'll be handing off the Canadian paperwork, BOL, etc to whoever runs this across the border... do I need to scan all the pages, or just a copy of the BOL?

And... will the guy who unloads me sign mine, or is the other driver usually already there?

Dispatch will unload you if you get there early in the morning. Make a copy of the b/l and have the dispatcher sign it. That's what you scan.

Check with dispatch and they'll let you know how to handle it.

Looks like the roof vent in the van sprung a leak. Coming out of one corner probably needs to be resealed around the edges. Just a light dribble luckly. Is there any place around Taylor that can fix it like a camping world or who would you take it to

Ok...I dont just go in the dock area to find someone to unload me?

Dale

Send your arrival message over the QC and check with the guys on the dock. They may unload you, they may not.

You'll still have to get the paperwork up to dispatch.

Naptime I guess.

Well, got to meet Jason (Shadow).. unfortunately, it was because they woke him up to find out both our loads cancelled. After 172 mile dh, 4 hr wait.. parts still werent right. Mine had to be out before his, so both are going via plane.

Crap. Thats as nicely as I can say what I felt! Mark in dispatch was not too happy either.

Bedtime at a J somewhere outside Evansville...

Nice to meet you Dale, sorry it was under these circumstances.

I too had a 175 mile dead head and this came from another load that cancelled yesterday. So in all I had 261 miles of deadhead yesterday.

Needless to say the past few weeks have not been the highlight of my expedite career!

You sure have had a tuff time of it lately. Can only get better, at least I hope that's the case.

If I'm dropping off or picking up a load at the yard, unless it's addressed to ARC I go up to dispatch and one of the friendly people there look after it.
If its an ARC load I see one of the uhhh people in the warehouse.
